Good morning guys
Sorry to hear your poorly Jeferey. Try and stay in bed for a few days and it should clear up hun. ((hugs))
We have spent a lot of time in the garden tidying it up. We have a lot of moss in the lawn which we treated and got up and I know its a bit late in the year we put grass seed down yesterday. We did water it in well so hope with all this nice weather we are having the seeds will grow. Otherwise the lawn is really patchy atm.

Thanks! No chance of stopping in bed but we have booked another holiday at Half term. We're off to Turkey (again!). Unusually my holidays coincided with FD and DD2 :j
I thought September was a pretty good month to sow grass seed - you should be OK.
Dug up some spuds last night, got some beetroot and leeks too.

Morning guys
I hope the grass seed grows Jeferey. We water it in every day but no sign of the seeds sprouting yet. Wonder how long it normally takes to start to grow.
Its not too long to half term Jeferey, the time will fly by, and you will get your half term break in Turkey. When you come back it will be time to get ready for xmas. lol.

Thanks CW - it'll probably take over a week to start germinating at this time of the year could be up to 2 weeks but temperature at minute is reasonable. I think you need 7+ °C for it to sprout. It'll be fine

CW so long as the birds haven't eaten it, it should be fine, probably a good time to seed the lawn, decent weather ATM, no frosts (oh here at least) and plenty else for the birds to be eating.
Just noticed my tomato plants have a few more tomatoes on, must've come on all of a sudden, not sure they'll be red ever but might end up in chutney. All seem to be a plum variety (planted a loaf of diff types, seem they were the ones that came up)Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Good morning guys
Its 6 days today since we put the grass seed down. My son is watering it every day so hope it sprouts soon. The birds haven;t been eating it luckily so hope the bald patches get covered soon. lol.
Its a grey sky again today, we aren't getting much sunshine atm.
Hope you all had a good weekend.

Great weekend thanks CW. I put old hanging baskets over any patches I've seeded to keep the birds off
