I've had the electric blanket on a couple of times. I noticed last night that it's getting dark a lot earlier, at 7.30pm it was quite dark

Morning everyone, sorry I haven't been about much on this thread - had last week of work - was super busy, starting with a weekend in Brighton (got the good weather), met up with an old school friend and had a lovely day shopping and catching up on 20yrs of gossip, then blitzed the oven and bathrooms and spent two days in the garden (5 trips to the tip with cuttings), oh and cleaned out / tidied the shed. Could do with another week now for a break lol!.

one sad lone tomato on my plants - think I am going to have to admit defeat, some are just flowering now...bit flipping late lol. Bought two plant propagators in the 99p shop today (the free item of a 3 for 2) so might try some more next year and plant them earlier.

Well thanks Kerri - sounds like you had a great week. Shame about the toms - I've had quite a few but there's loads more not ready yet. Last year I picked the last green one's off in November and made chutney out of them

Winter is getting nearer for us, its defo cooler today. Won't be long before the heating goes on. I have resisted it so far though.

Morning Jeferey and anyone else.

We are having good weather atm aren;t we. My back garden had a good tidy yesterday, and the pond got the stones around it moved and cleaned up and put back. Dying plants cut back etc. The problem is my green bin is now full and its 2 weeks till its emptied again. Might have to take some of the grass etc to the tip as we can;t do the front garden till its emptied.
