Good Morning. Good to hear your shingles are finally getting better and your recovering CW. Hopefully the good weather will continue and you will be well enough to go out and enjoy it.

I've just seen a post on fb saying it is 24 weeks till xmas, where has the year gone and what has happened to the summer? Yes I know, the older you get the quicker the years seem to go, guess I am very old the way I feel this year has gone:o:o

Re the world cup. I have been watching bits of the knock out stages, quarter finals and semi's but cannot find anyone to support tbh. I was supporting the small teams like costa rica, but then when it got to the recent matches just couldn't pick a team and still can't. I didn't want Argentina to win the semi as I saw an article with them holding a banner about the Falkland Islands, but then didn't want Holland to win because I don't like what Man Utd did to David Moyes so didn't want anyone associated with them to win (Holland manager new Man utd manager).

Now as to the final, well don't really want Germany to win either cos think the chancellor of Germany is cocky enough as it is without them winning the world cup:eek::eek: All the above makes sense in my mind anyways :p

So I probably won't bother watching the final but may watch the play off on Saurday as would like Brazil to at least get 3rd place, not for the players but for the people who have had to sacrifice so much for this tournament.

Jeferey Iv'e never had a dog but heard about the glads.

Had another scan this am, a mixed bag really saw the heartbeat but the baby ish 9 ish days behind where it should be growth wise back for another scan next week. All I can do is hope and wait now.

Great news you saw the heartbeat PM. I agree with what others have said and that you need to try not to worry. This time next year you will be wondering why you worried so much and how the baby got such a great set of lungs that keep you awake all the time :D

I'm finally getting around fairly well on my win8 laptop after spilling water on the keyboard of my old faithful laptop and it not working properly. I bought that laptop with coupons/Tesco gift cards in the good old days so not only did I love it for that I just knew how it all worked. Now I am trying to sort out all the bookmarks and stuff so that can easily get on places like here. Very strange when you want to go somewhere like here and have to find it via google. No doubt will soon get stuff bookmarked and like this laptop as much as the other one

Thanks Blue. looks like xmas is coming faster than we realised doesn;t it.:( But I have already bought a few pressies to put away so at least made a start.


I don;t watch the footie but my ds and dh watch every match, some matches have been great and some boring they said. So I don;t care who wins.

Looks like London could break 30 in next couple of days, phew! Oop North we might get 24 or 25, that'll do me my plants on the allotment are enjoying it by the strawberries are nearly finished, boo.
