    I use soltan 50 factor it's a great price and quite good
    Needing to lose weight start date 26 December 2011 current loss 60 pound Down. Lots more to go to get into my size 6 jeans

    I have a factor 30 and a factor 50. The SPF50 is a La Roche Posay one (melt-in cream), and while it's expensive, it really is the bees knees :)

    The SPF30 is a different brand (Neutrogena) and it's good, but not as strong as the SPF50.

    I think it might be because the SPF50 cream is a physical block and the 30 is a chemical one. Sorry to get all technical! The physical sunscreens are really effective at blocking out the sun, but they can leave your skin looking really white, which might not be what you want in summer (I like to try and get a bit of colour in my pale skin)
