Happened to me with my Egg Money account.
But I expected it having read articles, so was watching out for it and altered it straight away.0 -

Hi, I want to apply for this but I'm just confused on one point, can I use it as a normal credit card without prepaying money into it, i.e. spend £100 this month and then the next it automatically comes out in full by direct debit, I dont want to have to keep prepaying money into it.
Thanks0 -

Some banks are thinking of giving out PIN number entry devices for home use with on-line banking. Now if what exists today is secure ...then why would this be a line they are investigating ?
RBS started sending those out about 6 months ago for online banking - looks like a small calculator. You have to use it if you want to set up any new bank transfers, other than to known companies (utilities, council tax etc).0
