    Hey ecogirl1

Just read this, no advice but i really hope things will be ok, I personally wouldn't allow him to be alone with the kids at all, and as gerimc said, a supervised visit would be 100% recommended. A month or less in hospital doesn't seem promising in terms of "fixing" anything :( really really good luck and all the best. Don't forget safety is paramount with regards to you and the kids, so don't allow any alone visits anywhere! sending hugs and best wishes xXxXxXx!!

I agree with the posts above. I am a social worker and contact should only be in a supervised environment until he has been assessed and in a stable condition. I would seek advice from a solicitor ASAP - they will probably take this to court and get cafcass involved who will in turn complete an assessment etc. I would be seeking a no contact order and residence order at court.
Glad you are ok but this should be warning and although children have the right to have contact with their father - this should only be if its safe. You have been very lucky to escape from this unscathed x
Thanks to all those fab compers who post:j:T
