Not a clue what you`re on about! :(

what I mean is how easy is it to switch between iplayer, 40d and you tube without the laptop on your lap? personally i dont want a disjointed way of viewing content, i want one box that handles TV, ondemand, pvr with some pay per view iptv channels, youview gives you this and doesnt lock you into a 12 or 18 month contract for the paid content...

if you still dont understand, go back to watching jeremy kyle...

Why didn`t you say what you meant in the first place instead of rambling on about Apple.

I`ll ignore the last comment because if you weren`t born an idiot you certainly grew up into one.

Yeah, the previous comment was certainly cryptic. But what zarf2007 meant is that its YouView's integrated UI and its ease of use which is the beauty of YV. And thats its USP too, because no other box offers this.

Rather than a laptop and a cable here, a Raspberry Pi and a cable there. Thats messy. And most people don't do it. Indeed, most people just want a plug-and-play solution. Which is exactly what YouView provides.

    Two penneth over. :D

2p welcome and appreciated, like all informative posts.

Each to their own and if people want to pay for Youview, one way or another, it`s their choice.
I was merely pointing out a dirt cheap alternative, which I`m quite happy with.

Zarf2007 went on to explain the gobbledygook in the post but then had to add an idiotic comment.

Perhaps when he/she has more experience in posting, silly comments won`t be needed to be added.
