Printer saying offline ?

Hi can anyone tell me how to change my printer from offline to online please. It's an Epson stylus sx425w.

    Which OS though? In XP, right click your printer in Control Panel>Printers and Faxes and select 'Go Online'
    And of course make sure it's set as the default printer.
    No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

    Hi it's windows 7. It is set as the default printer. I ve tried start, printers, right clicked but no option to select go online.

    Have you opened printers and faxes and right clicked your printer.

    Hi yes that's one of the many things I've done. It might only be something simple but I don't know what. I have 3 devices that I can print from. The main laptop says offline and the other two tablets says online and ready. They all worked fine up until a day ago so don't know what's changed.

    I've tried switching printer off and unplugging it at the mains and the laptop at the same time but doesn t make any difference.

    OPEN
    Open in new window
    See what's printing
    Set as default printer (which I have done)
    Printing preferences
    Printer properties
    Create shortcut
    Troubleshoot( which I have done many times)
    Remove device
    Properties

    Everything looks as though it should work. There s a green tick by the printer in devices and printers but when I try to print nothing happens and it says error.

    Is it just the laptop it won't print from or all 3 devices i.e. the 2 tablets as well?

    Are all 3 devices saying online and ready at the moment?

    You could try reinstalling your printer drivers ,
