Yes, loved the no shoes bit. We were advised to tip on day one and we did. Every night when we went bed our bed was turned back and decorated with petals. Always something different. A very relaxing holiday and some great diving and snorkelling0

Just some more info if anyone is interested about digital waterproof cameras.

If anyone is interested, i can post up some video and photos from the camera.embarrassed to say I used to work for barclays..sorry0 -

is a week long enough?! A lot of people say they wish they had gone for two weeks, due to the distance travelled to get there.

So the magicseaweed website advertises this a suitable to surfing, how about snorkelling, when it will be submerged under the water for most of the time? We are hoping to get back to the Maldives in the spring.
If you plan to surf at Dhonveli, you need to check out the current details, when we went you needed to buy surf passes and there was a limited number available.HOW MUCH CAN YOU SAVE?: OLYMPIC CHALLENGE 2007BRONZE 10% SILVER 25% GOLD 50% PLATINUM 75%January 7%February 13%March 20%April 27%May 32%June 39%July 45%August 54%September 62%October 68%0 -

I only put a lin kto the magicseaweed site, as it is trustworthy and VERY good customer service.
On there it is advertised as for surfing, but yes, you can use it underwater .. I'm not sure of the depth it will go to though. When surfing, it it is submerged for alot of the time whilst paddling and sitting out back waiting for the magic wave
We don't plan to surf in the Maldives, I dont fancy the reef breaks.
Also, we're not going to Dhonveli any more, we are going to Herathera, as there is building works going on in Dhonveli.embarrassed to say I used to work for barclays..sorry0 -

Oh you've made me think now! I was assuming that double the nights would mean double the price, but infact its only £180 extra each to stay two weeks.

Sorry, making you think about spending extra money,
If i'm honest I wouldnt want to stay for one week, its such a long flight and such a lovely place (so everyone says!) that you would just start to settle and it would be time to go home.
If you can afford it, and can get the time off work, go for itdont push your budget though, because that way you won't enjoy it at all.

Still not decided about the two weeks, but think we are going to go for it!
Did you get any jabs in the end? If you did, what did you have to have?2022 wins: PS5 bundle, SSD drive, luxury truffles
