Hi Longships,
Totally inspired by your diary, I would do this like a shot. But we still have our 17 yr old at home. If and when he goes to Uni this is definitely something I would do. I would love to sell up and wipe out most of the debt in one fell swoop.
I also like the idea of a narrow boat. Hubby is a bit more cautious but I say go for it. In the mean time we will have to plod on making minimum payments on the DMP and wondering if it will ever end.Started Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

maybe you could do some housework locally. free ad in supermarket? you could charge a higher rate than caravan site were paying you.Teamwork means.......never having to take all the blame yourself

Hi Carebabe - I did think about doing this through an agency locally, but for now I am going to concentrate on getting my internet business back up and running by building some new websites and hopefully getting some Christmas sales, plus doing more antiques fairs.
If I am not making any progress in a couple of months I will look into getting a regular job again.Thank-you to everyone who posts comps :beer:0 -
Good luck Longships
Lived in a caravan of some kind most of my life! Summers hot..winters jolly cold! Ice on inside of windows is not a pleasure! I know you'll face it all with a positive attitude:) (from another with a dongle!!)

The site is crowded – even our outlying field, due to a music festival going on locally this week and it’s hot again so tempers are fraying.
I am looking forward to the caravan that is pitched next to us leaving as they keep starting up the engine to their jetski so they can tinker with it and it sends all the smoke and fumes our way. Plus they have the tiniest dog in the world and I am afraid our cat might eat it!
More money came in this week than I expected with some payments for online stuff that were more than I thought. Plus I am going back to work on the site for just 1 day a week for the time being as they are shorthanded with it being so busy. I was hoping to get the overdraft completely paid off this month so I could start hitting the credit card with extra payments but unless I get very lucky that’s not happening as there is still £650 to go.Thank-you to everyone who posts comps :beer:0 -
