I think the point is that the rules state liquids and ice is a solid. Petrol forms a wax when it freezes at -60c and Alchohol forms a slush. It's not breaking the rules it's actualy complying with them, if ice was a prohibited substance it would say so. And sam bee you are as bad as a rapist for suggesting body cavity searches for him, What are you thinking of or is it a pervy fantasy of yours? The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Do you want to substantiate that?0 -
I think your post above speaks for itself, wanting someone penetrated by another person as a punishment for not complying with your views. The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett

Let me rephrase it.
You are not allowed to take in more than 100ml of liquid, as it's deemed a security risk. There is a reason for this. It minimises our chances of being blown up.
A person tries to circumnavigate these rules by taking in more than 100ml of liquid, despite knowing these rules.
IF he succeeded, it is a clear and deliberate security breach.
I would not want him on my flight, and if I had seen the incident, I would have reported it as such without hesitation.
Why is he deliberately breaking security rules? What is his intention? He is now, according to every rulebook, a security risk, and should be treated as such.0 -
It is not liquid if it is ice - do you not understand the difference between solid and liquid? If they had wanted to make things so you could not bring solid ice on to a plane they would have done so. He is not breaking rules. Officials saw it and had to let him on because he had not broken rules, people like you want to move the goalposts to suit them, If you do not agree with the rules or how they are interpreted here's a handy hint, you do not have to fly.The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Do you still want him to be penetrated by someone with a rubber glove and not much lube or have i put you of the idea? The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett

What are you on?
He brought ice in so he would have liquid on the flight! And that is the only reason!
And why are you obsessed with lube? And do you frequently compare people to rapists? It's quite unedifying.0 -
It's only you I have compared and only once, and you are allowed liquid on the flight, just not to bring it through the gates. You seem a bit confused. The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett

I'm not sure this is true anyway. By the time I had driven to the airport, waited 2 hours at check in and then another hour at the security gate my ice would have melted by more than 100ml. Who would bother anyway?:A

Flying now is just sheer torture, neverminding the threat from terrorists. Why would you want to put up with the hassle? You need to be at the airport 3 hours before a 2 hour flight to anywhere. I hate flying now and do it as little as possible. Its the waiting everywhere queing for everything and being ripped of in the process. The security measures are nonsense as well and obviously a panic measure and the state has got to be seen to be doing something nevermind the stupidity of it all. What they do need is better intelligence and people watching skills much like El AL. That would have got the weirdo shoe bomber before he even got on a plane. The whole thing is a joke!
