Quick update before my child kicks off again - he's very grumpy today!

Debt is now below £3k:T .... and the loan payment is due on the first, so that'll take the loan to below £1k :D. Just the Egg card to tackle now, but it's on 0% for 7 months, so any money made now will go into my high int savings acc until the balance needs paying..... I'm working towards Oct as thats when the loan ends. Should have some decent Quidco money this month from car insurance, plus £40-£50 in £2s to bank.

The poop is gonna hit the fan soon with OH, as he is nearly at his £500 limit on his card (£250 of which is a cash advance! ), he needs to go to and pay for the dentist, and we have a wedding in a couple of weeks that he will want to 'flash his cash' at..... trouble is, he didn't bring home as much as usual this month, and as DS has increased nursery by one day, we are gonna be a bit strapped.... Oh well :o

:hello: Hiya Len, long ime no see! Things are good here, how about you!?

No he didn't sleep in the spare room last night.... but only because he was at work!!!:rotfl: OH getting his CC back was my way of 'letting go' a little bit, because I think I was trying to be too controlling and it was causing arguements. I decreased his limit from £1250 to £500 without him knowing, and all hell is gonna break loose when he finds out that he's only got about £70 left to spend! I know its naughty, but it's kinda gonna work in my favour, because he will prove to himself (I already know!) that he can't be trusted with a CC because he keeps taking cash out (he promised me last time, when I transferred his balance across, that he wouldn't do it again
That was his last chance! And besides, I can always blame it on the credit crunch!;)
So now I will keep taking the money for the BT plus the money for the tv, and any other charges/min payments he needs to make, he can make out of his monthly spends. I've tried to get him to see sense but this is the only way he will learn I think.

Hi Sarah, Ive got a question for you if I may. I remember not so long back that you mentioned that you would declare to CTCs that your salary had been reduced by ex amount due to your salary sacrifice and you would therefore receive an increase in CTCs. Did it work???
