The only problem is I was under the impression that I would get child benefit and child tax credit for her till the end of August (as advised by people on here a few weeks ago). Its stopped 10 weeks before I thought/was advised it would and she can't sign on from now.
If that's because you're claiming CB for her it would be better for you to stop and let her claim JSA.0 -
So as said stop claiming CB and claim JSA. Make sure if you are on other benefits you inform them in case it alters housing and council tax benefits.0

I thought this was to get assistance
As for me being only worried about what benefits i can get my main benefits are contribution based meaning i paid my dues to get them, and yes i want what i am entitled to why shouldnt i? I am 42 and until 3 years ago had never claimed a penny except CB but unfortunately I have cancer, cancer that is untreatable so i want my kids to have the best i can give them prior to my passing, what is wrong with that. I paid NI on a salary of 30 to 45k for almost 20 years, its not like i havent paid into the system
Now if you would like to go find some other disabled single parent to pick on please do. I hope you all feel happy with yourselves. So much for just asking for some simple advice, kick someone when they are down why dont you
Bless your heart, sadly some people on here do like to turn the screw and as you have found to your cost love to rip in to people why I will never know. One thing I do know is they are well known for it, as they suffer from "Irritable Duncan Syndrome" named after the workhouses and pensions secretary0
