Hi, I appreciate that this thread was started many years ago, but what happened with your claim? I'm in the same situation as you in regards to Peugeot finance. Mine is from 2000 too. I've struggled to get information on who the finance company was. I 100% had ppi, so want to do my best to get it back!!

It doesnt matter who the finance company is. You make your complaint to the company that sold the PPI. In this case, the car dealer.
However, car dealers were not regulated until Jan 2005. So, unless the dealer was an agent of the finance company, the complaint does not have to be considered.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
