Spybot scan problems!

No but there is no anitspyware that catches everything which is why you should use more than one. Maybe you should post a hijack this log but if your pc suddenly powers off it certainly seems to be more of a hardware issue. I don't know of any virus or spyware that would power off a pc without warning. The more I think about it, the more I'm convinced it's nothing malware related and is more likely a power or overheating issue. Unless anyone else has any better ideas."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

I had spybot seizing 2/3 through a scan, and emailed them. They sent a quick helpful response suggesting things I might try (I'm sorry - it was a while ago and I can't remember what they suggested).
But then I had other problems, so needed a major sort out, including a new wireless card, and when that was done (not involving spyware of any sort) and I was back to normal, spybot scanned perfectly happily. I'm inclined to think it's a symptom of a problem elsewhere.0 -
Have checked under System information for problem devices and found:
Video Controller (VGA Compatible)
Video Controller
RAID Controller
Universal Serial Bus (USB) Controller
The drivers for the above are missing! Don't know if this is causing the problem? Any easy way to replace?I'm mad!!!! :rotfl::jand celebrating everyday every year!!!0 -
just click on properties for each item and update the driver, allowing it to connect to the internet to search for drivers
worse case go to the support area of the Pc makers web siteEx forum ambassador

Can I do that via System Information or do I have to go elsewhere? I'm guessing to go via Device manager - I'll set a restore point first!I'm mad!!!! :rotfl::jand celebrating everyday every year!!!0 -
