4 of my items are marked as "order now packed" and I received an email to say one of these items will be delivered on 19th.

The rest of my order is marked as 7th August and 21st August. Quite annoying considering they're shorts, sandals and a sun hat! I probably won't need them when they arrive.

Did anyone get to the bottom of why they want payment up front for electrical items? I got the call asking for the money today.

After speaking to a manager I was told it was new policy that came in to force in June this year.
The quoted terms and conditions saying it was about identity fraud??

My items for delivery in Aug are shorts too (for me), whats the betting it will be raining by then? I have e-mailed them and asked 'why the long wait for delivery' but i'm sure it will get me nowhere.

I ordered the £150 netbook. It has been despatched to the courier for delivery and I haven't had a call asking for upfront payment.
