Next couriers can shop in the Next sale online from 3pm next Wednesday 10th July so the VIP sale emails with be sent out soon hopefully this means the invites will be for later that day, also the sale starts the 13th July in stores

Going by last year the slots will be released tomorrow around lunchtime if the sale is starting instore on the 13th July. If I'm wrong it will be a week's time so just a heads up to keep an eye on your in box tomorrow and perhaps someone knows more and can help after the whole of the UK stops watching tennis .

Sale starts in store on the 13th (I know as a friend is working there) so hopefully slots will o out tomorrow, good luck everyone xxx

What time will the stores be opening from. The missus is determined to go to this one but isn't sure what time to be there for opening.

Do you need to register for a timeslot or anything or can you just turn up?

You turn up to the store on Saturday. VIP slots are allocated from tomorrow for times from Wednesday night. If you have a directory account you may get a slot but there seems to be no obvious reason who gets what slot. Some years you get an early one and other years you get one so late that there is nothing left. Watch out on here for lots of people complaining that they spend the same amount as a small country's national debt every year and haven't got a slot and they'll never darken Next's doors again. Including me. It's contagious and actually quite fun being irate that Ebayers get better slots than you or someone who never shops with them. Ooo and there's the bit where those with slots can see what's in the sale and everybody else is desperate to know. Or when someone really wants stuff and someone with a slot is kind enough to say if it's in the sale and how much it is. This thread will be huge this time tomorrow.

. That's the best bit about the next sale, coming on here and listening to people moan about how they havn't got a slot, and don't forget the people that phone up and complain that they havn't got one in hope they will get given a slot.

it is frustrating though when you don't get one though and you meet the critera! New arrival due so hoping to get one this year, but if i don't i will just head to a store on saturday morning, i do find you get far more that way anyway!

I actually don't even believe the criteria. I think it is just a clever marketing tactic to get everyone to buy the directory and shop throughout the year! Next must be laughing every sale reading this thread

By the way I only ever shop in sale. Only ever buy a couple of items full price. I get a VIP slot every sale - first slot. Often send at least 1/2 stuff back due to sizing, or for comparison. Not sure how this fits with the criteria!

I can understand the frustration though from loyal customers - its a kick in the teeth.
