I have been a few times, i think stock is different in each store ( stocks sent in just for the sale so it's not always what is in stock in the store ), I have never seen designer items in our store ( no converse, joules ,lipsy etc...) but they do have a good range of items. It's worth going just for the experience ,it is a bit crazy, people get there early to queue and then you bundle through the door at 5pm and the lovely people you have been taking to in the queue suddenly turn on you (barging past). Good luck xx0 -
One of my items is due for delivery today(!), 3 due Friday 19th, 3 due Wednesday 7th August and one Wednesday 14th August. All of my orders from the Christmas sale turned up eventually...0

They have sale items available in all departments - its said that the best stuff goes in those early hours so it seems its worth the early start. Previously everything in the sale has been half price or less, but this sale they're saying "most items half price" - I've found quite a few things which aren't half price, e.g. some shoes I like were £35 reduced to £21, still a good discount but not what people have come to expect from Next! I've never been down at 5am before I'm thinking I'm going to brave it!0 -
Can anybody remember what iPads were for sale and how much they were?
I've just received a phone call about needing to pay up front for one too. She's told me I've ordered a 16gb 4g for £450, but I could have sworn it was a 32gb?!
Thank you! :beer:0 -
I'm too much of a coward/lover of lie-ins to go down at 5am
, and do almost all my Next sale shopping online in the VIP sale. I'm thinking of popping in mid morning on Saturday. Would there be much left then and would it still be really busy?
I usually leave in-store sale shopping for a few days to give people time to return the stuff that doesn't fit or they don't want, then I browse through it at my leisure.:)0 -

I go quite often at 5am - I always aim to be there an hour before and I'm never at the front of the queue but always get in in the first wave of people. It can be very hectic and gets really hot in there so keep that in mind when you think of what to wear.
By the time I leave which can be up to an hour later the stock is sooo diminished. All the best things go in the first hour. Quite a lot of people who have never been to the Next sale at 5am will say its not worth getting up early for but that's because they have never been at 5am to see all the best bargains!0 -
I didn't get anything in the VIP sale at Christmas so was dragged along to the store sale at 5am by my mother in law. Got so much stuff and it was all nicer than the stuff I had seen in the preview of the VIP sale. So I am definitely considering queuing up for a 5am start on Saturday!0

Yep I need to get there too as I missed out on almost everything I would have liked (9.30 slot last night was rubbish).
Is 3.30 a good time to aim for - I want to be in the first wave in!0 -
The items you ordered might not have been available for 1-2 weeks, some of my bits are 6 weeks delivery (which means l won't get them - why they do that l have no idea)
To be eligible for VIP slots you have to pay by direct debit on your account and ordering online (I think!), have you rang Next and asked to be put on the list, that's what l did.
No, the direct debit part's not correct, as I never pay this way yet always manage to get a VIP slot.Money, money, money, must be funny, in the rich man's World!0 -
You need to register to receive mailings too! I cancelled mine as had enough junk mail, & I lost my rights for slots! Even though I was getting that stupid waste of paper directory!!!! 0
