    Morning All

Headlight - Hope all goes well at the hospital.
JackieO - Enjoy your concert, have to admit that when I saw Take That last year I wasn't looking forward to Robbie's bit but he is a fantastic entertainer.
Jools - I like your shopping style!

I've been for a swim and done the ironing, managed to get all the washing dried yesterday including 3 loads of towels, that's what happens when you have a house full of visitors and everyone goes swimming too!

Not much planned for today, it's raining anyway and don't want to spend any money. May just amuse myself at home till work at 5. LOs for tea which will include chicken.

    Take care. XX

    Only me again.

Part of me wishes I hadn't bothered coming in today - two of my colleagues (based over in another office) are managing to do my nut in already, my PC isn't working and there is generally naff all of anything useful for me to be doing today (other that tidy up after the other two as they have made a horlicks of somethings).

Just taken does 2 of 4 of antibiotics for the day, have to wait an hour to eat lunch now. then after lunch I will flit in to town to get all my errands done during lunch.

Lunch today is cauliflower and horseradish soup plus a tuna mayo sammich followed by fruit and some mini gingerbread men. We are off to the cinema once I am done at work so wanted to eat plenty to avoid the munchies (although we will still get a treat to share between us).

Tea will be a pizza that I lifted out of the freezer this morning.

I'm moving on to daily lenses and have to say the one I put in my left eye today is playing up something stupid. Boo!

    Anyhoo...onwards with the day!

Well 'Youngest' is on his first train home..... He's waiting for his second train which will take him into Birmingham and then back home.

I am following his route online with a knot in my stomach. Ive never been on a train before on my own. Actually the last time I went on a train (a few months ago) I was amazed to see that the doors don't open automatically any more. :D

I'm so out of touch with todays way of living.:o

...DH is waiting for a phone call to see about a replacement car as someone drove right into the back of our car on Saturday - broad daylight - stopped at roundabout etc  The elderly guy who had caused the accident then quizzed my dd - had she a provisional licence, was she insured to learn to drive on our car etc!!!! The answers were of course that we had done everything we were supposed to do. He only quietened down a bit when DH suggested notifying the police. I am just glad no one was hurt but a bit shocked at the size of the bill for repair which we will pay and then claim back assuming the driver has the decency to admit he was at fault....

I believe that a rear-end shunt at a roundabout is always the fault of the driver at the back, so you should be OK. Don't forget to notify your insurers anyway - and they may offer to take on the claim for you which should have no impact on your NCB.

    Afternoon all,

Im squirrelled away upstairs as hubby has a meeting and i wont be able to resist chipping in if im there. Is it just my man with terrible organisational skills?
Have seen another job to apply for, just waiting for them to send the application form. It looks like a fair bit of travelling but i just need a job and then we can really begin to tackle the debt.
tea tonight will be gammon egg and pineapple, ds3 favourite.
I just cant believe ive still got toothache, have had two teeth out and still in pain. I have arranged another dental appointment tomorrow with a different dentist. I honestly dont think the other one knows what she is doing.:(
    not much else, take care

Very proud of myself today :j

I walked to work. Worked all day (work in an upscale sandwich shop so lunch is free). Walked home (gathered some free kindling) and the OH had made a 50p dinner: omelette with eggs from Mum's hens and chips. Also brought him a freebie sandwich for tomorrow's lunch. Did a load of work on a new heavy crochet throw for the bed in the winter (wool from freecycle) and mended my dress for tomorrow at work.

    Days spend: 50p

Aim for tomorrow: walk to work and back, OH will be chopping some scavenged wood and I'll come home to make a huge pot of lentil soup for less than 40p (fingers crossed) :D
