Morning all,
I'm off to work with with dh this morning, I'm bored to death at the moment. Really need to find a job, hopefully I will hear something soon.
Re WW I'm going to cancel my membership, its just not working for me as I am just not doing the diet, complete waist of money. I've joined the OS Weight loss thread and I'm waiting for the book that TTFTm has bought and I'm going to try doing it myself. There is a group in Manchester for Overeaters Anonymous which is free and I'm seriously thinking of attending. I'm not massively overweight a couple of stones but it drives me insane that I can't get to my goal weight, which is not skinny at all and at the top end of the recommended range for tiny 5 ft 2" short person:o  sorry rant over:o
On a more positive note I've got an exercise bike off my mil which I'm going to spend ten minutes on every night.
In other news have a leak in the dining room under the bathroom. The ceiling has cracked and looks like its about to come down. I shall ring the insurance company this morning and make a claim, unless the excess is crazy and then DH will do it himself.
It never rains but it pours, have a good day all xStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

Hester - hope you feeling brighter today?
Thank you for thinking of me x We are having a few days away in Ripon. Very quiet but I am enjoying the break away from (dare-I-say-it?) the atmosphere at home. DD is looking after youngest son and doing a very good job too as is DS2.
I very much enjoyed the James Herriot Museum in Thirsk - very OS!
We are off to Scarbados today for a whiff of the sea and some fish and chips. Then home tomorrow. Im catching up with yesterday xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -

I hope you are feeling a bit better today.
DH is waiting for a phone call to see about a replacement car as someone drove right into the back of our car on Saturday - broad daylight - stopped at roundabout etc  The elderly guy who had caused the accident then quizzed my dd - had she a provisional licence, was she insured to learn to drive on our car etc!!!! The answers were of course that we had done everything we were supposed to do. He only quietened down a bit when DH suggested notifying the police. I am just glad no one was hurt but a bit shocked at the size of the bill for repair which we will pay and then claim back assuming the driver has the decency to admit he was at fault.
Battery running low so hugs too all and see you later."This site is addictive!"

Hi there all.
It's cloudier this morning than it has been for the last two days. It's been great to have all the windows and doors open and wander in and out of the garden. A bit more normal today, though
I think it might rain later.
I'm spite of all the sun, my strawberries are still green! I'm craving strawberries so much, I'm going to go out and buy some.
As well as strawberries, we'll have sausage casserole for dinner. I've got some housework to do, mainly give everywhere a good dust. Also, hope to do a bit of tidying in the garden as long as it holds off from rain.

If your dreams don't scare you, they're not big enough0 -
Just had a couple of phone calls from youngest - she now needs two buses to get to summer job and has missed the first one - Oh Joy!! As we now have no car then there is nothing we can do so she will have to get on with it!
No news about replacement car and it is a really dull day and no sign of this heatwave weather we are supposed to have.
Going to butcher this morning for a family pack of meat and have veg for stir fry for tonight. Got lots of fruit yesterday but have had to carry as much as I can manage at a time so running lower on veg etc.
Halight
Hope you get some questions answered and you are better able to handle the new illness as a result (did you tell them you didn't want a new one?) Hug.
Trying to have a variety of fresh ingredients so I can change what I have planned to cook to suit the weather - cool and wet - cool and windy - overcast etc. or a very rare warm day when salads are appropriate.
Tonight should be a stir fry and maybe marinated chicken unless the day becomes gloriously warm and then will have salad instead."This site is addictive!"

Morning all!
Piddling rain here, so washing will be on the airer. The ironing board is out, will put it to use once I've been shopping, DD is finally off her atkins diet so at least the choice of veg will increase! Better get a move on, lots to do today after yesterday's spendathon!
Have a good day all!RIP Iain
