How about a sinclair c5? Very cheap to run. Good run about to get her to work and back. What's more it's a convertible!0

I've just sold my Ford Ka they are great little cars.
Saving to buy a brand spanking car, may go for a Citroen C1, I like in the middle of a city so the smaller the better! Anyone else got one?0 -
Just seen topgear on BBC3 and apparently the Citroen C1 is the same as the Toyota Aygo, same engine and made by same people. But is £500 cheaper. Seems like a good option. Richard hammond was also pointing out how they designed it so it was cheap to make and cheap to repair. Apparently only 2 bolts secure the bumper making it easy and cheap to replace in the event of damage and they're insurance group 1.0

Something I learned today was that the Peugeot 1.4hdi engine does about 60-70 to the gallon and most of the cars using it pay only £35 a year road tax..... newer 206 for sure has it.... Now there's a thought:rolleyes:NO to pasty tax We won!!!! Just shows that people power works! Don't be apathetic to your cause!0

Have you tried any local indpendent garages?
As others have suggested do a search in autotrader. You can specify how far from your home you are prepared to travel to get one.We all evolve - get on with it0
