Parking "Contractual Payment Charge" - Sussex Security Solutions

Dear All,
My car had a "Contractual Payment Charge" placed on its window. I'd be most grateful if you could help me on the way forward with this.
Mar car was parked in the private car park of a block of flats, in a bay marked "v" for visitors. The driver was visiting a friend who lives in one of said flats. I have scanned in the paperwork, but cannot see how to link it here? I gather Sussex Security Solutions have won some cases in court, which I'm a little worried about. I cannot afford to pay, nor do I believe I should have to.
The driver was not aware that a permit was needed to park in a visitors bay. Unfortunately the driver's Samsung smartphone also broke last week  , so they have thus far been unable to take any pictures of the signage in the car park. There is a sign on the entrance and some around the car park, all of which have very small writing and weren't noticed until the "fine" was received. I / the drive have yet to take any action.
Regards,
Notters.

I know you're after further re-assurance from more than myself and LadySeagull so I'll let others give you the advice BUT the advice you've received on NSC is correct0

How do I post the images on here?
You can't until you've hit 10 posts. Host the pictures somewhere - I use Tinypics.com. Then post the link here but without the http part.0 -
Do nothing until you receive a Notice to Keeper in the post, which will be some weeks away (or they might not send it at all, in which case you are off the hook in roughly two months from now).
If/when do get it, come back here before taking any further action - but rest assured you will not be paying this!Je suis Charlie.0 -

Just take the http://www part of the link out, ensure you redact all information from the image, look at my signature below vvvvWhen posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

The address made me snigger - a small room in a not very nice building and with "Brighton and Hove City" - that isn't a valid postal address. Maybe I should send them a "fine" on behalf of the post office !!!0
