Three new PAYG tariff 3p calls, 2p texts, 1p per MB

And don't forget if you plan on travelling to Ireland, France, Italy, Denmark, Sweden, Australia or Hongkong then all 3 mobile tariffs work more or less like home with no charges for receiving calls and standard UK allowances can already be used for calls back to UK (including all 08 numbers) and for internet (but not tethering). From the late great Tommy Cooper: "He said 'I'm going to chop off the bottom of one of your trouser legs and put it in a library.' I thought 'That's a turn-up for the books.' "0

With persistence, you can find the full Price Guide on Three's annoying website. Calls to 0845 etc are 35 p/min.I can find no mention of calls to premium numbers such as 0845. Are these charged at the same 3p/minute rate? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

For more popular 084/087 customer service numbers, and for calling Freephone Numbers. www.weq4u.co.uk is useful.
http://text2topup.com/uk/call_throughs_three/ offer cheaper UK Landline calls 2p a minute via a short code 351 0200 you can use on 3 2 1 !!! When calling you need to use the Uk Intl Format0 -
35p/min is indeed expensive, but from 13th June 2014, the company you are calling has to reimburse you the difference, i.e. 35p - 3p = 32p/min refund. On the three website in the footer, bottom right

Thanks again. As you say, carefully hidden away!
Fortunately, as others have said, there are ways and means, including Saynoto0870.com. If the worst comes to the worst, I'll either try to use a different company or, if absolutely necessary, keep my call to an absolute minimum.
I'm looking forward to next June when these greedy b*****s will be forced to find some other way to make some easy money.0 -

And therein lies the telecoms companys dilemma. They will suffer as a result of this just like BT did when the regulator drove call prices downwards. Their response at the time was to introduce the connection charge and today that has ratcheted up to about 13p on average. As if minimum billing wasn't bad enough, now you have to contend with the dreaded connection charge levied by most, if not all landline providers. Even worse, you get nowt for it!0 -
But nobody uses mobile for non-standard landline or non mobile-to-mobile calls in the first place. And until unlimited data is available most people still have landlines for broadband.
Some people just like to whinge.0
