Happy Birthday, GI! It doesn't sound to me as if you had a very lazy day, so don't push yourself too hard at the weekend, especially in this heat
Froddington, my heart goes out to the family and friends of your young pupil. So sad.
Well done on your conditional offer, MMM. Hope your LO behaves him/herself and arrives early, as you hope.
I have done 6 loads of washing today, including dust sheets. 4 of the loads are dry, one can stay out all night, but the last load - our dressing gowns - will have to be dried in the TD.
Not very :money: but very necessary when you haven't got any curtains
We decided to give the dust time to settle today and went out to a local NT beauty spot for lunch and a gentle stroll through the oak woods - very pleasantBack to dismantling cupboards and chipping old plaster off the walls tomorrow. Our bathroom suite currently consists of toilet, shower and a small washing up bowl on an old chest of drawers, which we fill with warm water from the shower

Happy Birthday dancemum  That must make us twins
Happy birthday to Pigpen's DD & cousins DD as well.
DS is still on his lappy - DH is snoring in his chair, DD2 is asleep on the sofa (she is there for the night as DD1 & her BF have nicked her bed) I think I may give DH a kick & go to bed myself.

Good morning/middle of night all x
Sorry I've been to busy to post I've been running around like a headless chook. Took DD to have her pics done on Thursday, went to pet shop for dog food, came home did a bit in the house and some in the caravan. Yesterday discovered that the sink was blocked in the caravan so had to rip the bathroom out again, I could have cried. OH managed to fix it though but not before the mirror fell off the wall smashing into a million bits. Put the new flooring down in the toilet once the glass was cleared up. Was about to wash out the caravan when the hospital phoned to say Pops was ready to come home but by luck SiL was going over for afternoon visiting so she picked him up. Went and choose uniform stuff for DD and DS1. The embrodery just needs to get done now. They are having the school badge with their names underneath as I'm sick of things going 'missing' !
So on the agenda for today is finish cleaning the caravan, put the new mattress in and make the bed up. Get some more ironing done and sort the clothes out for the t in the parkers and at some point go up to see pops with his ironing. But first WM on and more coffee is required!
Not caught up with the thread so love and hugs to all xxxI'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged0 -

Morning, and belated birthday wishes to GI and dancemum x
I'm at my mums where I slept on the sofanot lots of alcohol consumed, so reasonably bright eyed and bushy tailed, and dressed even!
When I get home I have towels to wash, beds to strip and mount ironmore to climb. I will also fill in the after school club form now I know when we need them, as DS new swim class time is confirmed. I've decided he's going to the school one, rather than the private nursery one. So I will organise a visit and ask if I can come with him for the first session. I'm not telling him though, until the last minute
Then it might be a date with a sunlounger this aft!
Hope you all have a good day!Bossymoo
