No More Buying Unnecessary Toiletries in July 2013

  • What a fantastic trial Mcculloch - Id certainly buy a hair removal system if it actually worked. I think I must have the fastest growing hair ever and im sick of the grind of removing it!

Sorry to hear about your ebay troubles Rosemary - the scoring system is a bit bleak - I got 3 feedbacks with low stars last year (despite only charging actual postage cost) in a short space of time and had to do some rapid selling to boost my totals otherwise I would have lost my account of almost 6000 positive.

Boots No7 time resist day cream 15ml - This was a GWP years ago and has been in my stash since - UU on my hooves. WNBA.

rosemary54 that's a shame - you can always contact eBay and argue your case, if you have the email evidence that it was the buyer who mixed you up and not your fault, I don't see why they wouldn't remove it!

I've left neutral and negative feedback once before when items were not as described and I had to spend extra money fixing them (both times the sellers sent me a hurl of abuse) Some people do just get a bee in their bonnet and leave negative feedback about everything though, and it's worth looking at their account history to see if it's a common theme. If it is, you will have no problem getting it removed!

IN- 4 x 400ml bottles of HE Fresh Balance Shampoo. It's half price at Boots but our tiny shop doesn't stock it, neither does Superdrug or Asda:mad: We now have a Morrisons in the town centre which carries it but obviously at half price I went for a Boots order to store. I bumped the order up with a toy for the baby that's due any second next door.

    INs
    1. Balance Me Super Toning Shower Gel 100ml - free with Glamour magazine
    2. Garnier Ambre solaire BB Cream SPF 50 tinted formula x3 - I LOVE THIS! Instant rave product - it does not sting my eyes, and gives a lovely amount of coverage and glow factor. I think I am going to wear this year round as I have laser treatment and should be wearing SPF 50 at all times. I actually picked up 1 for about £7.50 from Superdrug, and then a few days later saw it on offer in Sainsburys for 2 for £10. So now I have 3 - 1 for home, 1 for handbag, 1 for my mum. Oh dear!
    3. Garnier Ambre Solaire SPF 20 Lip Balm - also very impressed with this as it's not your typical chalky lipbalm with SPF, it's very soft and soooo nice on the lips. I will probably continue using this beyond the summer months for its anti-aging properties.
    4. Zara Rose Perfume 30ml
    5. Zara Orchid Perfume 10ml Rollerball - I bought this for the gym bag, as I don't like to carry a clunky bottle and this is actually just perfume in a roller as opposed to the usual perfume oils that are available in rollerball form, which I detest!

    UU:
    1. Femfresh Deodarant 125ml - AT LAST! I genuinely thought someone was refilling my can behind my back as this just wouldn't finish. WNBA - I didn't really see the point in this.

Have a lovely weekend ladies Xxx

Hair removal system has arrived, it has a refill head containing the laser 'unit' that has to be replaced regularly at £40 a throw. However, I don't have a massive hair problem so focusing on 'tache, underarm and bikini line rather than my virtually hairless legs may keep the costs low.

The hair dryer looks really powerful. I've been using a Babyliss eco one but it's a bit underpowered.

What's in My Handbag emailed me that they are sending out a sample of serum.

It has been very slow on the UU front for me this month... I have managed to get through a little 15ml BS Seaweed Night Treatment. I probably won't buy this again. It took me a while to use it up as I kept forgetting to put it on. My face was a little less dry the following day, but I didn't see any long term benefits to make is worth buying a full size bottle.

    Not many UUs this month:

    But so far for July

    3 travel soaps
Lush - Angels on Bare Skin - WBA
    Trevor Sorbie Leave in Conditioner
Imperial Leather Citrus Burst Shower Gel
    Radox Bath Foam

Garnier simply essentials 2 in 1 make up remover - WBA HG - does the job without the greasy film and is cheap.

20ml Clarins extra firming day lotion - WMBA but I think I prefer PCMC.

    IN

Emma Hardie cleansing balm - from an order placed in May this has finally arrived.

Original source mint shower gel - melting in the heat at the moment and find this makes me feel cooler even for a short time.

re heat, my elemis body oil is now liquid instead of its usual solid so no having to warm in hot water before use:)

Ooh thanks for pointing this out, mine has gone the same way so I'm finally actually using it - it's lovely but such a palaver having to warm it for ages first!

    INs:

    31-32. John Frieda hair mask x 2 - freebies

    UUs:

    16-17. L'Occitane Divine cream sachets 1ml x 2
    18. L'Oreal Youth Serum Luminize sachet - applies nicely and not greasy but hard to tell how good it is from such a small amount. No need for skincare (or indeed any) INs for a while anyway!

I have packed my wash bag for next weekend with my many minis and sachets (knew there was a reason for stashing all those magazine freebie sachets!), always have fun doing this, and I am hopeful that I will have lots of UUs as a result to get me back on an even keel this month!
