A UU of Avon Naturals Cherry Blossom Moisturising Body Whip, 200 ml pot.
WIBA? Don't think so, although it is a nice product as regards fragrance , a it has a couple of cons.
'Body Whip' basically means "body butter with loads of air beaten into it that lasts a third as long". I keep forgetting this.
It rubs in well, so it should do as it's mostly air.
The other con is that it is pearlised, so there is a pearly sheen that gets everywhere when you apply it. This pearlised stuff is a nightmare if you have dark clothing - it leaves white marks so easily - and so many of Avon's products feature it.
Rosemary, how sad. I support the BHF as much as I can after the death of a lovely friend aged just 45 in 2007 from a massive heart attack. His Dad had died just 6 months before from heart disease, but the programme that would have checked my friend out after his Dad's death had been withdrawn due to funding cuts. He thought he was OK. He wasn't.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
I'm still being good, haven't bought anything in July yet! And two more use ups to add to the pile:
Sure Crystal Spray Deo WIBA No, I hate spray deos, I bought this before I realised that! Onto a Mitchum spray now, then only solid from then on!
Pink soap with hearts and stars WIBA No, don't know when I acquired this but it had no scent and didn't lather well - give me Lush anyday! No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries in January!UU: 5, IN: 2Total Stash: 99 - ultimate target 33 (year start 99)0 -

Boots ultra soft baby wipes - WBA but have plenty leftNo more buying toiletries0 -
2 INs today.
Herbal Essences Clarifying Shampoo 200ml 99p from guess where? The 99p Store :rotfl: I've been looking for a decent clarifying shampoo and saw that Boots had the big bottle of this at half price but our teeny tiny store doesn't stock this variety but luckily I found it in the 99p shop so if I like it I'll order a stash from Boots.com
Nail polish remover pads, also 99p from the same place. You get 2 tubs which are pretty good, as good as Quickies anyway.0 -
Got a few splutterers, having to refrain from putting triple coats on to get rid...0

Elemis lip revive- very nice lovely minty smell probably wouldnt buy as the price is ridiculous
L'ooitane shea butter hand cream 10ml - very nice absorbed into skin really well - MBA - have a 30ml size in the wings-free from the L'oocitane facebook voucher a couple of months ago0 -
Have a uu
No7 Perfectly Balanced Toner - WBA if they still do it, it has alcohol in it but also glycerine which makes up for that. I have replaced it with a mini Melvita Rosewater spray.
My hand cream is spluttering so should be a uu soon and I am sure my La Roche Posay Effacler Duo will be finished soon, that stuff lasts forever.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Ugh, I hear you! Currently trying to get through a bottle of MAC strobe cream that I've had for years. It was sold to me by a sales lady who promised me I'd 'never buy another moisturiser again', was a bit suspicious and rightly so. It has a pearly sheen which doesn't suit my skin (just makes me look a bit sweaty) and if I'm wearing it when photos are taken with a flash it gives me a shiny forehead. But I WILL use it all up, it cost me a small fortune.
Very sad about your friend by the way."Why, this is hell, nor am I out of it."0 -
Phew, had a narrow escape - made a Body Shop sale order but as I wasn't in to receive it on several occasions (don't know why they have to use some daft courier company instead of Royal Mail!) it got sent back and they have refunded me - considering I didn't actually 'need' any of the items I think it's just as well!Sealed Pot Challenge Number 1225

I have another in my bag that's spluttering.0
