morning all DH left home at some ungodly hour today so up and showered and planning my day in town,so many things to do so will make a list or half will be forgotten!
picking up a jacket from East so hope it fits, taking a watch back(I hate returning stuff but DH said it was too big so back it goes)
have already forgotten stuff so will really need to think :rotfl:
not planning any naughty (toiletry ) buys and actually will have some outsold(tho not ended yet) on fleabay a L'Oreal cream and some fake tan I was sent to test and never did and have a watcher on Mirenesse primer I won at Christmas that is no use to me as green for red skin, only down as 99p so if it goes to the 1 watcher they will have a real bargain!!!(got 8 watchers on the cream so fingers crossed it goes higher)0 -

My best friend works in Lush, and I've become really good friends with the other staff (oh so dangerous!), so when they asked if I could help out with the kissing event that was on today (trying to break the world record for number of kiss-prints collected in a day) I said definitely, thinking it'd be fun to hang out... Had a lovely time accosting people in the street, and went to let the manager know I was off - only to be stunned when he handed me one of the massive giftboxes as a thank you!So, INs as follows (the You're a Star box):
Blackberry bath bomb
Dream Cream 100g
Aqua Mirabilis Body Butter
Ceridwen's Cauldron Bath Melt
Therapy massage bar
Dreamtime Bath Melt
French Kiss Bubble Bar
Silky Underwear Dusting Powder
Skin Shangri Cream 10g
Which makes for one very happy Owl! :j All to go into the stash except the Dream Cream, which I've opened up to try and tackle the sunburn I got earning it!
How lovely!Cookie, I think you're tame. :heart2:

sold the L'oreal cream for 33.70 so someone has a bargain, the sun tan still going but only 99p so far and stopped the mirenesse sale as 99p for that was a joke!!!
bought a pair of sandals, a boiled wool jkt and a turquoise linen jkt plus a half price bag in exchange for the large watch, very hot in town and too hot at home to sit in the sun:eek:0 -

Slightly sad to see you have such low opinions of bloggers - I have a beauty (and fashion) blog and would never review something well for the sake of it! I've only ever had two things from PR companies, a dress and a Body Shop face mask. I gave a very balanced review of the dress, including all of its shortcomings, and a very negative review of the face mask, because it stung my skin! The company that sent me a dress offered me another one, despite my honest review, and that one didn't suit me so I sent it back rather than lie, and they were fine with that and are still in contact. So while I understand your scepticism about the big bloggers, please know that there most of us out there do this because we are truly interested in sharing our opinions!
i know there are plenty of honest bloggers out there and who pay for everything on their blogs, i just hardly ever stumble across them! i have a blog too but i only put on things i genuinely do love that ive paid for with my own money.
the blogs we are talking about are the ones that seem to have a huge amount of PR sample posts and gush that it is all amazing. we know from hanging out here that taking a random sample of 10 beauty products wont give 10 glowing reviews, there will be some glowing ones, some meh ones and some omg this is awful ones. i find it hard to believe that what we see in real life just doesn't happen on blogs at all. i think the most scathing things ive read on blogs is comments that they should rethink packaging or increase the shade selection.0 -
