Evening ladies. Hope you have all been enjoying the sunshine.

Congratulations smart cat on your news - so exciting!

Very sorry to hear about all those awful things that have happened recently emsjune. Hope you have been able to pamper yourself over the weekend.

I also have had some bad experiences with ebay, it's so frustrating. A few weeks ago a buyer left me negative feedback for an item I sold saying that it was unusable! It really wasn't and they didn't even contact me, just left me bad feedback when I had 100% positive. Very frustrating. I contacted ebay but they haven't done anything.

    One TA from me -

106: Next Just Pink Shimmering Body Cream 50ml - WNBA. Had used up about 2/3 of it but decided to throw it away as I really hate shimmery body products. Scent was nice and it was moisturising but couldn't stand the shimmer!!

Have UU most of my travel size products now.

    UU

    razor

    GA
BS white libertine perfume and shower gel
Ted Baker body things x 3
    Lip balm

    IN
    Burt's Bees miracle balm x 3
    No 7 Cleansing water x 3
Soap and Glory Lip crayons in Plum jam and raplumzel
    No 7 glitchy items x 8 (can't remember which combination I bought!)

I should feel bad about the above but I'd wanted to try the Burt's Bees stuff FOREVER and it was 75% off and 3 for 2, and it got me a no 7 voucher....which I used to get my glitchy items. The cleansing water is brilliant and works as well as the Lancome one, and the S and G crayons are HG and I'm using VERY quickly! I worked out that I spent around £15 for the above so don't feel too bad!

    A few more UU's
Twilight shower gel WBA I have been trying to use this one up, I have used it as bubble bath, it's amazing how quickly you can use it up.
Pantene hair masque sachet WNBA a 10 ml sample is too small a size really for a real trial.
Nivea body conditioner sachet WNBA did not find it was anything special
    BS ginger shampoo WBA
    Listerine total care WBA
    Aqua fresh tooth paste WNBA
Colgate sensitive pro relief tooth paste WBA

    A strange IN
A item that I sold on ebay went missing, I refunded the buyer and on Saturday the item was returned about month after originally posting the item.

    UU:

    6. S&G Righteous Butter Lotion 500ml - HG, although I'm not usually a fan of lotions this one isn't too runny, and leaves my skin feeling very well moisturised and not at all sticky. The pump dispenser is great but I do find that it's pretty hard to get the last 1/8 of the lotion out! WDBA but no need to replace just yet as I have another in the stash, as well as a few body butters and a Smoothie Star which I have now started on - 1st time using this and it smells yummy!

emsjune - how awful but lucky you were in:eek:.

moromir - We all need to remember (imo) when reading blogs that many of them are making a very good living out of telling us they just caaaaan't live without such and such a product. The lifestyle some of the well known ones on youtube are having is quite incredible really and people are spending their hard earned cash on products that the youtuber/blogger got for free.

No movement for me but still only one in so I am very, very pleased with myself.

    Hi All,

Thank you for all the kind words re. the fire, getting back to normal now and we really were lucky :)

Got the ball rolling for July with some NBI - 2 x sachet of Vichy Liftactiv Serum arrived through the post, also picked up two of the Glamour Balance Me 'freebies' - got the Face Wash (had before and love) and the Body Wash, usually the face cream would have appealed but I'm currently too enamoured with Elemis :o Inside the magazine was Herbal Essences Bee Strong Shampoo & Conditioner sachets so I've those times two also. Finally I got some VO5 Gloss Me Smoothly Shampoo as on half price in Tesco and I like to alternate this with L'Oreal Everpure which I'm running low on. So starting the month with nine IN but at least they are low in cost, they need to be at the moment!!:eek::eek:

To start balancing the above out, I've one UU - S&G Clean on Me, small travel bottle I took away last week, holding onto the bottle itself for future decanting opportunities - WBA and currently also got a large pump dispenser open I'll use with other stuff as get bored easily! I also have a GA - S&G Hand Food, sounds mean but one of the girls at work has run out of hand cream and actually likes this stuff so is very welcome to it! :rotfl:

Electrician came back today to see why the cooker was tripping electric and said its a fault on the cooker the new fuse board is sensitive enough to pick up so currently cooker shopping  That good karma has to be around soon :D

personally, i treat every single glowing "review" with a star next to it denoting its a PR sample as probably made up unless its from one of the big big ones that do it more of a "look at this press release, new collection from X out on Y, what do you all think?". even then, most of those are perfectly honest saying its a PR sample, they got it because they work in the industry hence why its a press release/sample weeks before the average bloggers get it.

the other ones must think we are all stupid, of course we are all just as aware as they are that if they get it free and tell the honest truth that its a waste of money or just not up to scratch they wont get anything else free from that brand and probably its sister or parent brands too.

10ml Everriche shampoo sample - WMBA I like all of the 'ever' range but cant tell the difference between them.

400ml Johnsons be fresh and imagine - DD used all of this so I cant give an opinion. I heard no objections so WBA but still have 2 left from the original buy 1 get 2 free offer.

    Congratulations Smartcat!

I have UU'd an NSpa coconut body butter, 75ml. It was okay, but I don't love coconut products and it is discontinued anyway...

Slightly sad to see you have such low opinions of bloggers - I have a beauty (and fashion) blog and would never review something well for the sake of it! I've only ever had two things from PR companies, a dress and a Body Shop face mask. I gave a very balanced review of the dress, including all of its shortcomings, and a very negative review of the face mask, because it stung my skin! The company that sent me a dress offered me another one, despite my honest review, and that one didn't suit me so I sent it back rather than lie, and they were fine with that and are still in contact. So while I understand your scepticism about the big bloggers, please know that there most of us out there do this because we are truly interested in sharing our opinions!
