Silly mistake, need some advice

you would have had to pay the difference in fare anyway even if you have booked direct and if Opodo have not charged you the £25 then it could be that the £25 per person was the difference in the fare0
-
Again 'budget flyer' if we don't argue our case sometimes then companies will think they get away with anything, if there's nothing I can do then fine, but if I can get £75 back then im going to try.0

Caz- I paid the fare difference on top, it came to £108 alltogether including charges0

It is strange that it is Norwegian that are charging you the same amount as amendments in the Opodo Ts&Cs...I would still suspect that it is Opodo that are charging you the 3 x £75 as per their Ts&Cs and I don't believe there is anything you can do about this as you agreed to these terms when you made the booking
You may have to chalk this one up to experience and maybe next time book direct with the airline0 -
its definitely the airline because I argued with them about it for 30 mins. Next time i will definitely book direct!0

"Ps thanks for stating the obvious andy, helpful comments only please"
Why so rude? Why is stating the facts not 'helpful'. What would you rather I do? Make up some BS about how you're so hard done by because you messed up and now being charged as per what you agreed to?0 -
Im trying to see if anyone has had the same issue and managed to find a way around or had some advice. Its not helpful to state the obvious. Especially when you don't even know what the Ts and cs are yourself.
I didn't know why there are ads on this site asking people to be nice to new users, its people like you they are saying it to.0 -
If I read this correctly you've been charged the amount you would have to pay under Opodo's T&Cs (regardless who is charging it)...you booked through Opodo...so regardless who has charged the fees you've paid what you are obligated to under the T&Cs you signed up to.
As for this
My main concern is that it was less than 12 hours from booking and shouldn't opodo/the airline have a policy which means there's some kind of cancellation period even though it was through a travel agent?
You've been able to amend your dates at minimal cost...as others have said this is more than you would have been able to do on many tickets on most airlines...most wouldn't have allowed the change and those who may allow the change would likely have charged quite a lot more.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0
