Silly mistake, need some advice

I booked flights to Tenerife through Opodo, departing in february. I got distracted and booked the wrong inbound flights. After going for three hours (!) between the airline (norwegian air) and Opodo i was finally told that i had to pay £25pp to change the flights even though i had booked them less than 12 hours before. I only didn't call at the time because they were closed.
If i had booked directly through norwegian air then i would have been able to use their 24 hour cancellation policy, but because it was through opodo i had no rights to do this. Opodo said that the charge was from the airline to change the details but i can't help feeling that opodo must have some sort of cancellation period or cooling off time? Otherwise what the heck service did they provide?
This was after being told by 3 advisors that they 'couldn't get on the booking screen', then told the same from the airline? I was in disbelief at the incompetency of both parties.
What i want to know is, can i get the money back? who do i ask for travel terms and conditions from? Both parties keep saying it's eachother which is so so so frustrating!
Please help i want my £75 back!

What do Opodo's Ts & Cs that you agreed to say?Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

is there a reason you booked with Opodo rather than direct with the airline?
This is the norm when you do not deal direct, you are stuck with the agents fees on top of any applicable airline fees0 -
There weren't any agency fees, we paid the same amount as the airline would have charged us, i've never booked flights before, usually go as a holiday so everything is included. I'm so annoyed that I didn't go direct but there's not much I can do about that I just want to try and get the money back.
With regards to Ts & Cs, i can't seem to find any, opodo say that any cancellations/amendments must be done through the airline,so i did and then it was the airline (not opodo) that charged me to change, even though they wouldn't if i went direct with them in the first place.0 -

3.1 here http://www.opodo.co.uk/opodo/StrutsServlet/DisplaySiteInfoPage?pageName=termcond
you would have had to check a box to say you had read and understood the ts&cs when you booked
Opodo reserves the right to charge you a service fee of £25 to cover the administration costs incurred by Opodo. These charges do not include any charges imposed directly by the Travel Supplier or hotel, including any difference in fare/room rate/rental rate.0 -
"If i had booked directly through norwegian air then i would have been able to use their 24 hour cancellation policy" - but you didn't. Chalk it up to experience and move on. You have been charged as per the T&Cs you agreed to0
-
perhaps i'm not making myself clear? Opodo didn't charge me, norwegian airlines did, as per their £25 pp admin fees to change dates.
My main concern is that it was less than 12 hours from booking and shouldn't opodo/the airline have a policy which means there's some kind of cancellation period even though it was through a travel agent?0 -
Ps thanks for stating the obvious andy, helpful comments only please0

were the fares for the 2 different dates the same?
this is the Norwegian terms
Booking errors
If you have booked the wrong date/time/destination/name when making your original booking, phone our Contact Centre within 24 hours of making the booking (12 hours if booked less than 24 hours before departure). We will book a new ticket at the available fare and the original ticket will be fully refunded. A refund will not be provided if a new ticket is not booked in accordance with the applicable conditions.
applicable conditions I assume refer to you booking direct with them
Opodo's terms clearly state they will charge you £25 for changes0 -
You are lucky. A lot of economy tickets are non changeable. ie you would have lost the whole amount.
You made a mistake, you got charged £25 per ticket to put it right.

Thanks caz, it was definitely not opodo that charged me though it was the airline. Nowegian said that the rules you posted above dont apply because i booked through opodo. The fares were pretty much the same price, I think it was about £20 more.0
