You gave notice before you even secured a mortgage? I have no sympathy.

    Hope you get it sorted.
Sounds like you had a lucky escape if you ask me,
    you couldnt get a mortgage,
you didnt have the 17K deposit,
and then you were trying to get a loan (not sure if that was based on not being able to get a deposit together).

Maybe not ready for home ownership yet.

As i said in your previous post i can understand you being furious but how long has it been since you reserved? Every place i looked at said we had to exchange in 28 days or the builder reserved the right to put it back on the market. This is a standard clause and would likely have happened with any builder not just Barratt

look back at all of them, more holes and alter ego's than a sieve

A full time job (with a real not made up salary) is a useful starting point for a teenager wanting to buy a 160-210k house

Provable as in bank statements, wageslips? He is very good a photoshop.

He picks up over 1400 a month.
Bank statements and wage slips designed on Photoshop!!! 1400 a month = 16800pa, not 24K / 28K pa (as posted in previous posts under different IDs.

Why would someone working in HR/IT, earning 24K/28K a year, apply for job as receptionist / admin. assistant where the top-end yearly salary is approx. 21-22K pa?

Op, dont take this the wrong way, but i assume you dont know the area? Is it the crescent in shard end? If so, you'v had a luck escape. I used to work round that area and its a complete dump.

Wait until January, and use that £160k budget to buy in a much better area!!!

    Matt

Edit - forgot to add.... Theres a massive sewage problem in the Shard end area, and on some of the estate you can smell it really bad ( really strong eggy smell ). I believe a lot of work is being done but no solution has been found yet i dont think!! Depending on the wind direction, you'd smell it from where Barratts are building!

many thanks for your response matt, yeah in shard end, I didn't really like the area much but was willing to take the house where I think they built really good - the showroom. The rest of the houses didn't look strong at all and I the sales house came with a ground floor and and first floor which was more ideal for us.

The other houses were terrace which we are not looking for also kitchen was at the front of the house, crappy, cheap kitchen installed, living room upstairs! !!!!!!!

I knew if we were to get the sales house, we would of done well of getting rid of it few years done the line, it has more privacy, looks stronger and most importantly looks decent layout wise inside.

Area **** but could of lived with that if we had the sales house, anyways, everything happened for a reason but I knew if I bought one of the other three houses on the plot, barratt would be laughing their !!!!!! off.

    A. I am going to be made reduant as they are doing everything online (booking holidays, requesting uniform, ect) in the next couple of months, everyone in HR will have to go and they will be made redudant if they can't be made to slot someone else in the store.

So please get a life. Sad, sad person, too much times on your hands, go get a thai message!
