so glad to hear people have the same experience or thinking like me.

Why i just feel like EAs are not trustworthy
  • I don't think we ever managed to train ours to use the 'cc' button so we could both see the reply...

It's very difficult to arrange viewings by email. Often the agent will need to speak to purchaser and vendor two or three times in a short space of time to agree a mutually convenient time.

If you want six viewings, that's going to get awfully confusing and protracted by email.

Some things can be done that way, but IMHO this is made more difficult.

I had the same problem when I was searching for a rental flat - one or two responded to my request to be emailed. One agent is still hounding me by telephone despite being repeatedly told I've found a property.

Never giving them my personal number again.

I am guessing that e-mail = lower interest / lower commitment to purchase.
If you were really interested in a particular house (i.e. it might be 'the one') you would phone the agent wouldn't?

    Debt-free and Proud!
I know how hard is it for some people to believe its 2013? Where I work we do a lot of business by e-mail. Some businesses are just more customer friendly then others. We do text, email, phone and even old fashioned face to face.
Debt free since July 2013! Woo hoo! The bank actually laughed when I said I have come in to cancel my overdraft.
