Do you mean that the CCTV pictures they sent are of your car entering/leaving?

I think they were standard PE 'ANPR' cameras with still shots of entry/exit. They don't have rotating CCTVs like Local Authorities. They're not quite Big Brother...... yet :)
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

bazter you need to edit your post that quoted the OP naming the town.

Doh! Done! Unfortunately Kayleigh has risked blowing the entire gaff by publishing a complete transcript of the letter she sent to them! I hope she comes back to remove it before they see it! Or can we get a moderator to edit it?

I've reported the problem, hopefully the mods will sort it out if Kayleigh doesn't come back soon.

It really doesn't matter, who even cares even if she'd posted the location and left that up too? She'll win it at POPLA, as long as she takes forum advice on the wording. This is nothing to worry about and appeal wording used doesn't have to be kept secret. Not sure why this has reached post 26 already when it's a standard one where the OP is awaiting the rejection letter.

Thank you Bazster. I didn't see the symbol at the bottom right of the page saying there was a second page of comments so unfortunately I've only just read them. As you said... damage done! I'm still going to fight against it though. Just waiting on my rejection letter! ;)

You still haven't answered my question as to whether there was a terminal where you enter your registration details...

There wasn't a terminal to do this. It was just a ordinary car park with signs saying 2 hour maximum stay for customers

That's a pretty complacent attitude if I may say so. If they figure out who she is they will give her extra-special attention, probably starting with bending over backwards not to provide a POPLA code, and they will try every trick they can think of to get her to court. That would make it anything but standard.

I realise you do a lot of work here but I think you are getting a bit carried away with a few successes at POPLA. You can bet your bottom dollar that the scumbags are plotting to thwart your efforts and who knows what trick they will come up with next? And when they do think of some new stunt, they will surely try it out on someone getting help here or at Pepipoo if they can identify a suitable victim.

TBH I think it more likely that PPCs will drop a case like a hot brick once they realise they are on a hiding to nothing because the OP is getting support on here & PePiPoo.

This case is quite clear cut & even playing by the PPC's rules there is no charge due never mind the arguments that will win at POPLA (contract, genuine losses etc). Parking is 2 hours for customers. The OP was a customer & can prove it & left before the 2 hours was up.
