I appreciate what you're saying, but isn't there a disadvantage to starting a new thread and posting too much information on here which the parking company might use against the OP?
I am trying to support workers in my area by spending money in local shops, surely the businesses should be aggressively fighting against these parking companies? I spent less than an hour legitimately shopping, how does this equate to a £60 parking fine? How can this be justified?
I will start a new thread when I'm feeling a bit calmer.
It isn't a parking 'fine' it's a charge.
Anyway, welcome to the forum; please read the sticky threads which give lots of information and then you will know what to put in your own thread and - most importantly, what NOT to.
There's also THIS - (see the big yellow rectangle;)

It's usually those very businesses who have engaged the parking companies & then claim they have no control over them.I am trying to support workers in my area by spending money in local shops, surely the businesses should be aggressively fighting against these parking companies? the above posts reflect the exact reasons why YOU need to start YOUR OWN thread
the whole purpose in not hijacking a thread is so that you do not deflect it from its original course nor interfere in the replies given to the OP (original poster)
there is no charge levied for opening a new thread, also within your own thread you can put anything you like (within reason) inside it and not get the backs up of people who may help you, or who may answer you
generally, the golden rule is not to help any thread hijacker until they start their own independent thread , which you alluded to in your opening post
therefore please do so, because by adding the last post you have deflected this thread0 -
I get it! Apologies to the OP.0

Hi everyone, so today I received another letter from Newlyn reading...
FINAL NOTICE - COURT ACTION
We have no record of receiving payment blah blah, we have no alternative but to pass this back to Excel who will then proceed with court action.
Unless we hear from you within the next 7 days your file will be processed for court action, this will result in additional costs to you.
Am I still to ignore until I receive anything from the courts? I have two letters as I had two parking tickets, both for the amount of £166 each?
Thank you in advance for your help guys0 -
still the same advice as post #34 and #36 , and same if you get any more from debt collectors , until you get anything legal from the courts or Excel themselves
here is the cluewe have no alternative but to pass this back to Excel who will then proceed with court action.
ps:- read this PDF in post #7 which helps explain some of the problems at that PEEL centre in Stockport too
in fact , read all of that thread , lol
