Is anyone else having issues with their hotmail address. Logging into the site takes forever and to click between pages also takes a while, whereas it used to be fine up until a few weeks ago.

I know it is free and i could change if not happy just had this email address for longer than I can remember and a big hassle to change it.

It's not just you Paully232000! I've been fed up with it since it changed over to outlook, it has been very unreliable since then imo.

I've just looked into setting up a gmail account and gradually phasing out the hotmail one even though it is a hassle, I've had enough.

I stumbled across your question when looking for an answer related to gmail, it appears I can still use my hotmail address, if this right anyone?

I have been having the same issues, good job the only stuff I get in my inbox is stuff I do not need; if you know what I mean

Since the change to Outlook the user experience has been terrible. I tend to use it for web contacts and throw away addresses but it would still be a pain to have to change my contact details on a host of sites. I really don't know why Microsoft forced a change from a platform that worked to one that is unreliable.

I use Windows Live Mail to access my hotmail/outlook accounts now.
Mozilla Thunderbird is another alternative.

Yes

In gmail settings you can set this up

In GMAIL Settings click on 'Accounts'

add your hotmail account there

So no big hassle

Microsoft changing the name from outlook.com to outage.com.
It's been particularly awful all day. I've had phone calls from 3 different people.
The joys of online email. Please don't have one of these as your business email.

I have not had any problems right up until this week, now it takes an age for the site to open, once it does I can get around quite easily but as I really only use it to receive mail these days and don't send very much using it I can't really comment further.

Glad it is not just me.
I guess i could open a gmail account and just forward the hotmail emails there as you say, if it is that easy to do.

Would never use one as a business email address, just personal but dread having to change it really as I have so many accounts linked to that email address that would take an age to change them all, and I am bound to miss some.

I use at least 5 other email addresses thru gmail, really simple to set up

I am using hotmail without any hassle. It works good in Internet Explore. You can change if you are not happy with this.
