It's a pity the post from Kerry was removed but them's the rules.
Why are you so intent on using this company (that may or may not be in liquidation) when there's such a lot of alternatives?
Are they offering way more for your gold than all the other companies?
Pollycat I agree about the mods removing them - would have been interesting!! Although I think it would have been point less to defend their position, they are going through the process of liquidation - This is a fact as per the London Gazette
I have decided not to send my gold to them - for obvious reasons I think.
The point of my original post was to understand if a company can trade and also going through the process of liquidation. The answer to that question is YES. But would you trust them with your gold - answer to that question is a NO.
Maybe they might get some trolls to post something otherwise...0 -
I would not mind sending my gold off to a company with "post" in the name - why not out of interest. I was looking on this site and a few review sites and was thinking about sending my gold to Hatton Garden's Does anyone have any suggestions , are they any good ???0

As said, try local jewelers, try to go to as many as you can too befiore accepting a price as prices offered will differ quite a bit.0

Yes this is what I have been doing. But I am finding in my local area South London - that the prices offered by jewellers, pawnbrokers and cash for gold shops are really very low. This is turning out to be allot of work!!!
For example a small independent, family run jeweller on my high street offered something in the region of 6 pounds per gram of 9 carat and 13 for 18ct. Surely this is a very low price?
I was thinking about using hatton garden metals bu I can across this on google??

Could someone advise?0 -
What exactly is your issue with Hatton Garden Metals?
The link you provided appears to be an issue that a company called TaxFreeGold has with Hatton Garden Metals about copyright infringement, specifically to do with Krugerrands.
Do you have Krugerrands to sell?
If not, what is the relevance of the link?
In your Google search for Hatton Garden Metals, I'm astonished that you didn't come across this thread on this site:
