If it's not to be ended right away, you might want to receive some mobile calls from here for a little while to come, before everyone knows your new situation, and could forward your Orange number to another SIM with cheaper incoming calls there. Of course just leaving an answerphone message might be simpler

Along these lines, I have previously transferred a contract to someone else. I used to pay for my step-sons phone through Orange but when he moved in with his Dad he took over the contract completely, only took 10 mins on the phone to Orange to sort it out.
