What about delivering for a local takeaway?
Only one that I know of. Not sure if they do home deliveries, but I'll keep checking their site for jobs.
I've been looking at takeaways. Not sure if all are worth it due to petrol costs and possible business insurance costs, plus I don't want to be working til midnight or later, but I am looking out for them types of jobs.
Not sure all are offering legit pay either. Found one that offered £5 an hour and, I think it was, £1 per delivery. Alright if you get a good amount of deliveries, but it is a bit dodgy otherwise.0 -

Yes I know someone who does take away deliveries, its a bit pants though as as you say you have to change your insurance and petrol.0 -

No, the reply you quoted was a post you quoted but i deleted it as you mentioned about not wanting to drive anything bigger than a car.0 -

Yeah. I read earlier that in some cases the companies insurance covers you. Not sure if that is ever the case when using your own car and I imagine it would only be bigger takeaway companies.
I don't mind if I don't make a great deal from it, but I don't want to end up worse off.0 -

Depends how much it would be to change the vehicle use and same for petrol. Then theres the wear and tear on say tyres, brakes.
If you can do web design then try searching for the job title another poster suggested.
Good with the job search.0 -

Good with the job search.
True.
I can but my skills are a mix of design and development so it's really hard to find a job where they want the same skills as I have, plus on top of that most are full time. I do still search and apply for a few (including full time positions), but most either require knowledge of multiple coding languages that I don't know or really amazing graphics skills which sadly I don't have.
Then with admin there's always hundreds of people applying for every job. That's really why I've been trying to think of some other jobs I could do.
Thanks

Have a look on Gumtree, if you haven't done so already.
Thanks. I do often check gumtree, but usually any jobs are 14+ days old and if there are any newer ones there is usually something that sounds a bit odd or there's hardly any information at all. A lot of people seem to recommend it, but I'm not entirely sure I trust it.0
