  • I'm struggling through this month, as everything seems to be going very slowly although I am waiting for £155 to clear.
I have spent the last couple of days completing surveys, doing some MSing and making a plan of action for next month.
On reflection of this month I think I will just keep plodding on and see what I can manage to make whilst putting things into place for next month.

£5.20 after fees for eBay sale from weekend that has just been paid for.

£4.63 from Paypal after £5 donation for my charity journey.

£10 in petrol money from mum in law after taking her to theatre.

Wondering if I can get to £1,000 before end of month, never mind if not! Sold my bike for £50 today to a friend and agreed she could pay me later, she has had a bargain IMHO as it's never been used.

I also announced today I'd do a sponsored diet towards my charity project, people's money may be safe, to be fair :)

Chased up a replacement vax yesterday, I've been in contact with vax since April and finally got somewhere with them; they won't be doing anything. I was furious, the Hoover is only 9 months old! So I went to tesco and told them how disappointed I was...£50 voucher heading my way :D

I cashed out on onepoll a few months ago and I'm already back at £20.30 :) hoping to cash out again before me holiday in September.

As in you only bought it 9 months ago and its now faulty? Under SOGA 1979 the item is required to last a reasonable amount of time (which 9 months isn't)

I'd remind them of that and possibly remind them that the small claims court would find in your favour.

ETA the consumer protection act also makes VAX liable to the end user even if you bought the item from Tesco.

Finally over the £200 threshold. No idea how I'll get to £310 though.

I quoted everything but they wouldn't budge, I sent of the relevant form with a copy of my receipt and the sticker from the vax and conveniently, they didn't receive it. So they said they couldn't do anything. So I contacted tesco and they apologised on vax behalf and are making enquiries into it. The vax was £49.97 and I've already bought a Dyson in its place. So by tesco offering me the £50 voucher has saved me a lot of hassle trying to sell the replacement for which I wouldn't get £50 for it. So I'm quids in :D
