Morning lovely people, I've woken up to a donation of £25 which means £23.95 from Paypal, although this is money towards a charity, I have paid the charity a big amount of money to take part in a journey for me and my daughters to Africa to help children and we go on Sunday. So the donations I'm getting do stay with me as sponsorship to get there. This gives me inflated totals in this challenge! I should imagine raising the amounts in my signature without this element would mean it taking over -- alongside working! I've been so pleased though that people have been so kind after I wrote about what we're doing and why and asked for support.

I got a note to say I was getting £9 refund from Goodtoknow competitions as I paid £3 a month to be entered and haven't been :) I'm counting this now rather than when the cheque arrives, which may be the wrong way round but I'm an impatient so and so.

A friend gave me some clothes for Cash 4 Clothes, I held some back to go on eBay but another friend bought a dress and says she'll pay me today, I said give me £1 as it's a bit weird but she says she'll give me more than that.

Now I have shown myself I can do this, I'd like to be let loose to declutter my parents' house and get them some money from stuff they won't miss.

Thanks for listening to me ramble on, good luck to everyone in their money making, especially if you're throwing the money at debt and can look forward to a day when such a disciplined and hardworking approach can turn into savings instead xxx

Well, it's been a monster month for me because my PPI payback landed in my bank account yesterday, which I wasn't expecting for another couple of weeks. Without that, not sure I would have hit target so I'm chuffed to bits! Still got MS and eBay money to come through but maybe not in time for this month...

Well I'm officially declaring July a write off for me. Between pregnancy problems and the heat I've had no motivation. However yesterday we got the approval letter from the Government scheme we applied to for buying a house, so thats a major kick up the rear. I will be decluttering and selling like its going out of fashion haha.

We have a 2nd viewing for a house we like tomorrow afternoon so hopefully things start moving swiftish!! Was hoping to have moved before my due date but 7.5 weeks is pushing it a bit :rotfl:

I'll be happy if we're in before Christmas. So happy (I hate renting and I hate the house we're in atm)

Yay that's fab new nikki! I hate renting too and can't wait to be out but will have to wait until for the next few years to get a deposit together. Even with the government scheme out next year, I still won't get a decent sized house without a large deposit.

    Go you!

The letter arrived from tesco promising a £50 money card...only problem is, there was no moneycard!! Another one on its way. £50.50 also withdrawn from TCB, will add when it hits my account.

Received a £3 giftcard from Tesco for some gone-off houmous, and a £2 helping hand coupon. Normally I wouldn't count these, but seeing as the shopping came out of our joint account I'm going to!

£10.89 from Paypal (finally cashed out on Qustodian)

Current total is £225.70. I really cannot see where another £84.30 is going to come from though. Still, over £200 is nothing to be upset about.

Without this scheme I would probably be renting forever. We don't have a deposit but this scheme 'gifts' upto 40% and the equity is split when the house is sold. We can also eventually buy the full 100% which is good. Only thing is that the house has to meet certain criteria (certain amount of rooms and certain price)

That and I have to have a offer accepted within 12 weeks.
