Well just to confirm our fears, the house we offered on has been sold to a different buyer at a lower rate then we offered. First time buyer ready to go so in a stronger position than us :(

Ho hum, plenty more houses in the sea!!

For sale board is up!!! :j

I've never known someone so happy to enter the world of buying and selling :rotfl:

We're 2 months into the process and I'm already fed-up, anxious and stressed .......I'm surprised my husband hasn't left home :D

you will need to have a complete chain behind you to be considered in a proceedable position and able to submit an offer.

So he was in a hurry!!!

My commiserations. We put our house up for sale when we saw one we loved. We sold it within two weeks, put an offer in, and we are in the process of purchasing... Crossing fingers.

When we first put our old house up for sale, fell in love with a property (or two!) before we had a firm offer on our house. Same happened to us, these where sold (SSTC) before we were proceedable.
  • Good luck with the selling before buying OP, you seem over the moon to be moving....you got nasty neighbours or something?!

Certainly not nasty neighbours, quite the opposite.

Reason is space, two bedrooms, two kids = nightmare every single day!
  • Well we have officially received our first offer :)

    Now for the negotiation!
  • Bit of an update, first offer on the house rejected, but I accepted the improved second offer, this happened on the 12th August.

Then two weeks later, we had our offer accepted on the house we like. :)

Now the fun really starts!!
