Just to follow up, Im trying to obtain details of usage, ie Kwhr/units, but Co op are extremely reluctant to provide this. The website only shows "Charges", not usage. Now I know that someone will post "You should have kept records of you meter readings etc". But i think most people dont.
Im unable to think why Co op think this is such a big deal, never had any problem with other providers.

roddydogs - your usage will come through on your quarterly statement. Everything will be there.

The quarterly statement also gives the details of the points you have earned for that period.

As for people not keeping records of your meter readings, you get points for submitting the meter readings, so I assume most people ARE keeping records because it's free, easy money, which helps you to monitor things too.

But, if you haven't been completing your own meter readings, surely the ones done by Lowry Beck (the meter readers) will be online? Just use those, if you can't wait for the quarterly statement, and the charges are here:

You get the cash for your payments/meter readings paid into your bank account, not as a credit against the energy statement.

PS - out of interest, I can't really understand why my dd hasn't been increased. In the few years I've been with Co-op my dd has stayed at £37 a month, and yet my last statement showed I was almost £600 in arrears. Anyway, very happy to owe them, rather than the other way round.

Phone them and ask if the dd can be reduced if it's too much, and just pay them a lump sum to keep them happy (as I said previously, I've popped in a couple of hundred now and again to reduce the debt).

I would've thought you'd really want to start addressing these arrears, they will eventually ask you to pay it all off so being pro-active would probably be a good idea? Just my two penn'orth

It's interest-free, so doesn't matter when I pay it off. As I have said, I've put in the odd £200 here and there. Your advice may be useful to someone who is less on the ball, but I know what's going on.

    Thanks, though.

Roddydogs: Do you log in to your account?

If so clicking on "Statements" should show every statement (mine are quarterly) in PDF format.
    Whereas "Transactions" show all payments.

You must live in a weird pocket of Britain! Or in a thermally transparent shell! If you are still using heating now then your bills are going to be crazy.

Are you sure you still need the heating or have you just developed a stupidly low tolerance to a perfectly healthy temperature? Try not putting on the heating and observe the way your extremities do not turn blue then black then drop off.

I have just received 4 e mails from cooperative energy, titled dd review and with an attachment. I haven`t opened them. Is this the method they normally use or should I just delete the e mails
