In which case if you don't pay it you are risking eviction on the basis of your rent-arrears. And would be playing right into your landlady's hands.
Pay your full rent or start making plans to move. And start making plans to remove your improvements, too.0 -
My landlord has raised my rent. I already pay nearly 6 pounds a week myself and cant afford anymore on top.

I suppose im wondering whether if push came to shove they really would evict me seeing as ive been here along time etc and they know they are getting someone who looks after the place.:footie:0 -
Look, if the LL evicts you the agency gets loads of nice new fees. They do not want people living in properties for 17 years, they want a 6 month turn-over which gives them maximum income.
And the LL might not want a void but might just be happy with the idea of trying to rent out at £50 per month more than you pay, or £100.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -

That might be what the LL wants, but that makes the letting agent the minimum fees. Agents make the most profit when they have new tenants in every six months as they then levy large fixed fees to both tenant and landlord.0
