assassins creed 4 black flag. this is the first assassins creed game i have played since playing the second game. overall its ok but still massively inferior to the second game. at times its ridiculously hard and other times far too easy. this is straight from the off as well. some of the pick ups are not there i am sure of it. i know you can think i am on the spot but where is it and it turns out to be in a cave below or a room above. on occasion this has proved to be impossible and the only conclusion is as a result of a glitch the pick up isnt there. also there are animus pick ups that are sometimes in places impossible to get to like at the top of a tree you cant climb. i am sure there will be some clever way of getting to each one but it simply makes it not worth the effort just for a pick up to get a trophy. the free running doesnt flow like it did before. why is it on ship battles it takes 5 million shots to take out a ship but they can take you out in only a few? while it might be realistic, the way a ship manouvres makes it impossible to avoid shots. the maps are hard to read as well. this is a game that needs a proper manual. i know theres an e-manual but it is a pain going from the game to look at that all the time, much rather have a paper one open and ready in front of me.0

The Last of Us - Remastered - Playstation 4
Hadn't played the PS3 version and had read all the hype, it certainly lived up to expectations.
Tremendous graphics, it's almost like watching a movie, the narrative and cut scenes and storyline is so well constructed.
Loads of gameplay, I went through it on normal mode and found it challenging, wouldn't dare try it on expert I'd say I'd pull my hair out.
There's also an online multiplayer mode which looks good.0 -
I'm back to Far cry 3 for the PS3 - I've completed it once, and am now playing to fill all of the extra quests and missions. I love the gameplay, but the movie scenes are a pain in the proverbial0

Ditto. Finished it this evening, and I found it challenging too - lots of instant clicker and bloater deaths! Never annoying though as there was always an alternative strategy to take them out.
Good use of the PS4 features, especially the joypad light as I'd play in the dark so the whole room would be vaguely lit by the pad - red for near death, green for good health etc.
Really enjoyed it, and fab script/voice acting.
Back to Borderlands 2 on PS3 now. Still on the main story, but there's so much content and side-quests I'm still progressing towards the finale. 70+ hrs in so far. Great stuff...0 -

I downloaded Theme Park a few months ago and got back in to playing it again this week. The graphics are out of date, the noises of people throwing up are hilarious, and I've finally worked out how to not go bankrupt (involves putting shops EVERYWHERE). It was such an iconic game in my childhood that it's great to play it again.0

DH got me the 'Jak & Daxter' trilogy from the Playstation summer sale yesterday. All three games for around £14.
Just started the first one, although I played it years ago, I can't remember much about it. It's fun for what it is though. Pity that although they have remastered it, they didn't tweak the camera angles. Sometimes you have to alter it yourself, it's just a minor grumble though. Can't really complain for the price, and there's a good few hours gameplay there.BEST EVER WINS WON IN ORDER (so far) = Sony Camcorder, 32" lcd telly, micro ipod hifi, Ipod Nano, Playstation 3, Andrex Jackpup, Holiday to USA, nintendo wii, Liverpool vs Everton tickets, £250 Reward Your thirst, £500 Pepsi, p&o rotterdam trip, perfume hamper, Dr Who stamp set, steam cleaner.
