AC4BF looks amazing from the videos I've seen. Unfortunately my graphics card won't support it, but I've a long list of great old-ish games I want to play before buying a new card. I just completed PoP SoT and it was an amazing game, the sound track got better and better and the ending was really good. At the beginning of the game I thought the Prince was taking to me the gamer, but it turns out he is speaking to the Princess. Awesome game. I'm a bit down that Warrior Within and Two Thrones seem quite different, WW is very dark, saw the intro to it and the heavy metal music seems out of place. It would make sense if the Princess is dead and he gets depressed and angry but she isn't and it feels like a new reboot of the game rather than a continuation of the story. Ah well, I'll start playing that now and see how it goes. Happy gaming to the rest of you.
To be honest of the original trilogy only SoT is worth playing now - WW wasn't great at the time - it loses all of the charm and what idiot thought making the game focused on combat when the combat is pretty rubbish in all the PoP games should have been shot or at least removed from development early doors.
The emo prince does kind of make sense when you realise he's spend several years being pursued by a death spirit trying to remove him from the timeline mind.
Two thrones isn't bad and gains bonus points for getting the original voice actor for the Prince back but loses them for ripping up Farah's character and needlessly sexualising her and for the irritating dark prince sections.
The two subsequent games are much better. I loved the 2008 reboot with its anime styled graphics and relaxing environmental platforming, although some may find it a bit too laid back and the one on one combat gets dull quickly.
The last game is the best since SoT, although basically it is a HD remake of the first game - lacks the clever plot but in every other sense its the real sequel to SoT. Sadly it sold like !!!! and that appears to be it for the franchiseWho's going to fly your plane? / When you need to make your getaway....0 -

Playing a few games right now - Gotham City Impostors, which is the latest free game as part of Xbox Live Gold, is an absolute belter. It's multiplayer only, 6v6, and it's a hell of a game. Different and fun.
I'm still playing Fora 4 (my brother gave it to me earlier this year) - used to love racing games but hadn't played any in for a few years. Best racing game I've ever played, ahead of Mario Kart.
Recently for my birthday I bought Titanfall and Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark. Both lacking variety although good looking and fun. ROTDS doesn't have the same multiplayer experience as it's predecessor Fall of Cybertron, although Escalation returns which is fun. Titanfall just lacks any real depth. It has bags of potential, but the ex-Infinity Ward guys have screwed it.0 -
Sleeping Dogs, which I had for free as part of the Free Games with Gold, I was lucky as I was trying to buy this 2 weeks prior on Ebay and lost.
A lot of fun, I have played both games previously (True Crime). I have only 4 main missions, just ranking up the Face XP with side quests.0 -
Finally got round to playing Deus Ex: HR.
First game since Mass Effect thats kept my attention for longer than half an hour.0 -
I've been jumping between The Binding of Isaac and Football Manager 2014. Both of them are completely different, but have eaten up massive amounts of time.0

Wolfenstein on PS3, I highly recommend it if you like FPS
EDIT: oops, sorry, I meant Wolfenstein: New Order0 -
Just completed Tomb Raider, and it's not bad. It's like a dumb action film.
Those expecting puzzles and raids on tombs will be disappointed, but it's good, mindless fun. It's also very cheap on Steam at the moment. My three-year-old 560 had no problems knocking out 60FPS on Ultra (although apparently even my laptop could manage 55-60FPS on High, so it doesn't seem to be too demanding an engine. The game looks good, though!).Q: What kind of discussions aren't allowed?
A: It goes without saying that this site's about MoneySaving.
Q: Why are some Board Guides sometimes unpleasant?
A: We very much hope this isn't the case. But if it is, please make sure you report this, as you would any other forum user's posts, to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com.0 -
