We really need some sort of mechanism by which BGs could remove their clickable link if they are not going to be around for a few days - or longer - and restore it when they get back.

Might not be she hasn't been here, with forums I have been a mod/admin on I could choose to show or hide if I was on-line but I don't know if BGs here have that option.
She is already a BG on 5 other boards and was brought over for the Christmas rush so maybe doesn't come this way now (in which case the list of BGs should be updated).

Sorry to resurrect an old thread but nothing seems to have changed .:(

361 pages of comps which includes all the expired comps from 21st July, that is 6 days of comps that have not been removed.

I have been expiring some but this is a ridiculous way of getting them removed.

Re Andrea's last comment which was comments are noted, I just wonder if there is any update on whether anything will change?

Eternal thanks to the BGs who do put it many hours of their own free time to help with these boards but I for one think the position of BGs needs to be reviewed and perhaps more BGs on board?

I just clicked on divadee & they are now not showing as a BG although their name is still at the bottom as a BG.

I've just sent a polite P.M asking if they are still a BG for the competitions board as they are showing as a BG on the bottom of the comps board but not showing as a BG on their profile.

I asked if they could let me know & I can let others know so that they don't get any more BG requests from the Comp board.

Also we can then ask someone higher to remove Divadees name as a BG
