Hi,
We've just bought a YouView box for my grandparents, they live in an area with a very good Freeview signal, however the YouView reception is awful, and checking the YouView site says:

In the menu, have you enabled 'RF On'? (which is the aerial connection).0

The Youview box is a Freeview box in all but name, it just has a few extra features like the IPTV so the signal will be the same.
I'd suggest you try a signal boosterThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Thanks both - have to say I have no idea what she's using because my mum set it up (recipe for disaster) but it's probably scart if that's what it came with... will check the RF On option and that everything is setup okay when I go over next (sometime this week)
Apparently it is quite a bit better now, so like you said pen it could have been intermittent issues0
