Oh & did stop at Aldi. A bit disappointed tbh. 2 aisles dedicated to crisps & chocolate and only a tiny amount of space for veg & meat. I got a good voucher from Sainsburys anyway so will use them for the rest of the month.CC1 - [STRIKE]£8746[/STRIKE] £2801 71%

Food shop done and I went over budget again! I think I'm going to be realistic and aim to keep it under £250 next month, that's for 2 of us.
I have £325 left in my current account and I get paid next Friday. No further direct debits to come out but I do need to fill the car with petrol before we head down to my parents this weekend = £50. Hopefully, after a small bit of spending (budgeting £25), I'll have £250 left to get the final weeks shop before payday and I can make a further payment to the CC.
Halifax keep sending me marketing bits for loans but I'm resisting! I know it wouldn't feel like a proper debt if it was a loan and I'd very slowly pay it off.CC1 - [STRIKE]£8746[/STRIKE] £2801 71%LBM September 2012 - Current DFD Oct 14

Hello Mockingjay,
I have just read through your diaries and had to post, you sound so lovely & so positive & determined. I know you can do this. It sounds like you have a good job too & a lovely boyfriend.
I think going to Glastonbury is amazing idea for your 30th, friends of mine have just come back, they did lots of watching bands of course, but also did free bunting workshops on old Singer machines, had free massages - it sounded brilliant! I had a 2yo and an 8m old when I turned 30, so I say go for it (I still had fun, just more locally!)!
I know what you mean about the marketing. I have had open baskets with Cath Kidston, Monsoon & Next sales this week, but so far have have resisted. I did, however, succumb to the Ness/Andy Murray 50% off everything + free delivery for 2 hours after the tennis final last Sunday & bought a new purse.
You sound very clued up on make-up & perfume, would love some advice one day (when I've got some spare cash!), I'd love to take care if myself more & not feel so frumpy.
Good luck & keep us posted with your progress!MBNA = £4,000 / Next = £925 (approx. tbc on 19/8)
Tesco = £2,910.11 / Smile overdraft = £500

Yes, can't wait for Glastonbury! I have registered and have to pay a deposit in October. By the time I have to pay up in full, I hope to be debt free! :T
I had a good MSE weekend. Spent only on petrol & some snacks for the car! Luckily, Mummsie bought us lunch & dinners. Got home last night & placed an online delivery order from Mr Sainsburys. £15 off a £60 spend! I got some treats for my nephew who is visiting next week. I hope it officially makes me the coolest Aunt! :cool: Four days until next pay day - thank gawd!CC1 - [STRIKE]£8746[/STRIKE] £2801 71%LBM September 2012 - Current DFD Oct 14

Sold a book on eBay today so I'm £17 up!
. After filling up the car & fillin the fridge, I've got £200 in my account. I'll transfer this (providing it's all there still - can't think of anything else that's debiting) to the evil credit card on Friday.
Blooming heck it's hot. I'm more of a winter girl!
Oh in other news, I'm down to 9st 9!The 5:2 diet is really working. I want to lose another 9lbs before end of October as we're going to a wedding & I'd love to be smaller for that especially as my boyfriend has lost loads of weight & it's looking very trim. I don't want to look like the chubby girlfriend in photos!!!
