Plain boys pyjamas without characters.

I suppose I am a bit of a boring mum
, but I really don't like character clothing (I'm not sure exactly why - a host of reasons).
My son is 2.5 years old and needs new pyjamas. He is big for his age so I am looking at aged 3-4, but all I can find at the moment are character ones (Bob the builder, Moshi Monster etc.) or short ones (shorts and/or t-shirts). I have tried the usual places, Asda, Tesco, Very and the rest, but no luck. Mothercare have some but they have skinny leg fit, which I am not crazy about. I found some in Matalan but they don't have his size online. I just want plain ordinary good old fashioned boys pyjamas - any suggestions?

Try tesco. They have some "plain" ones, one with robots and stuff.

Primark do checked ones, with button up tops.0

Thanks for the replies and suggestions. The Tesco ones are short (short sleeves and/or shorts). M&S do mainly character ones now or short ones. I will check out Primark, otherwise I might just have to suck it up and buy Thomas, Fireman Sam or one of their friends

I must admit I am the same. I really don't like buying clothes for my boys (or anything else for that matter) from 'character' ranges. Perhaps you could try Vertbaudet or somewhere like that.0

The mothercare ones with the tapered legs are really good because they don't ride up very much in the night.0

Verbaudet, Laredoute, Bonprix? You'll probably have more luck with the Continental shops. I used to buy my youngest a few bits from Mini Boden but I know their pyjamas usually have animals and things on.Over futile odds
And laughed at by the gods
And now the final frame

Try John Lewis, they have a selection of plain and check boys pyjamas.
I bought some for my nephew!0
