(((((((((((((((Kyle)))))))))))))))) you need to get that pain sorted.......if you cannot get anything done any other way go to A & E!!!!!!!!!!

((((((((Scuzz))))))))) To be honest if I were in your position I would walk away, there are issues going on that you know nothing about. No way would I be thinking of going abroad to start a business with him, I am sorry but to me it seems lunacy....................sorry!!!!!!!!!!!!

Morning all.............OH seems ok this morning, I have to go and bank some cheques and also look for some 500 piece jigsaws for him, I ordered an overbed table/tray which he can use when he is sitting in a chair, that will keep him out of trouble.

He is gradually staring to do a few things, last night he made the chocolate before we went to bed, and this morning cleared the table, I told him to leave the pots I would do them, do not want him straining himself.:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

He slept ok, I was reading until quite late, kept waking up, went off again, but I do find it a pain in the butt:D :D

I am not sure that our rent and HB is right, we seem to be paying almost full rent, so need to phone the rent office and see whats going on, there is a centre near to us where the councillors have a surgery, so I will be going down to see if they can sort it out for us. I am tired of battling, at my age and in sheltered housing we should not have to deal with this.   I have a feeling that they have not allowed for the £50 a month we pay for water etc in our rent on top of the basic rental......am still waiting to hear from he council tax office.

A bright morning I am going to put some of the plants into the tubs, they are going mad on the window cill............. and the fuschia will be hitting the ceiling soon (slight exaggeration but you know what I mean)

Right OH wants to order books from the library so I had better sign off, have a good day...................
    Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.

    Morning all!

    Hope you are well!

I am angry, because my wages cheque has not cleared from one job, and the council still haven't paid me the money they owed me from March and April, I am seething as my bills are due out tomorrow and urgghhhhhhhh I just want my money!! I *think* I have enough to pay all the bills, although I get confused by what's in my account and what's coming in, going out... I guess I'll have to wait til 7pm tonight to see for sure on my bank account-I'd best not worry otherwise I'll make myself ill :P It all drives me so crazy. I'm also still due a P46... why is it always me who has to wait for all these things??! Ugh.

Today I'll be listing a few things on Ebay... OH and I went through a load of clothes in the bedroom and have a sack of charity stuff (and more in the spare room to sort) and a pile of stuff for Ebay! Woo hoo. Some will qualify for the 5p listing, others won't, but hope I'll get a few sales from them :)

Sending hugs to those who need them!

I now confess that I am a complete Springwatch addict-OH and I laid in bed watching it last night, I love the barn owls and Tarzan the badger!!

Morning everyone who's been and all who follow, hopw you have a great Thursday.

Dull and grey here, looks like it'll rain later. DH is off to the local tip to try and get rid of a load of concrete rocks and the recently excavated mud. Normally I go with him, but I can't lift any of this load as it's too heavy, so I'm staying here to do a quick kitchen swish and swipe.

Then we're off to...forgotten the name...they have a Chilli Festival and a Tomat Festival there each year...past Goodwood I think... to a shop we saw some months ago that sells horrendously large and horrendously odd garden statues. We want something for the end of the garden, we will cut a hole in our not-yet-erected trellis so we can see it from the kitchen IYKWIM. It will also be a focal point from our bedroom french windows. Hope we find something. I think. I'm not really one for garden ornaments.

Dinner tonight will be hm watercress soup for me, and a hm "ready meal" for DH. Still have quite a selection in the freezer.

Kyle You can't seriously be thinking of waiting until your dentist appointment???? That's 11 days away. If there's a problem, it'll be really seriously bad by then. It isn't right that you are in so much discomfort after all this time. You probably have an infection, and you need to get it sorted. For heaven's sake, go to your GP, or make an earlier appt, or go to a walk in centre.... If you lived closer to me I'd drag you there myself!!

<<hugs>>, commiserations, and congratulations as appropriate to everyone else. Will catch up with the rest o fthe news later.

    Morning :hello:

((((scuzz)))) - I don't really know what to add to what everybody else has already said :grouphug: Catowen, hugs also to your friend.

Got a lovely day planned. Am working until lunchtime and then am off to the opera at Glyndebourne with a friend. It's not really the weather for it but it could be worse. My friend is supplying the champagne :D and I am providing the picnic, which I knocked together last night:

    Starter: Prosciutto with melon
Main course: Griddle fried salmon on a bed of rocket, with potato salad and tricolore salad (vine tomatoes, mozzarella and basil) on the side
Dessert: Tesco Finest individual-size sherry trifle, reduced to 31p each :D
Accompaniments: Tesco organic seeded bread rolls, reduced to 27p for two :D

In fact I made an absolute killing at "yellow sticker time" at Tesco's last night - got a selection of decent ready meals, trays of roasting veg, takeaway-type items for the freezer, and some fresh fish and lamb, all vastly reduced :T

Anyway, must be off - it's my busiest working week of the month, and I wouldn't normally take a half day in the middle of it...

    Love Rzl xx

Hiya mrs_mix, thanks for that :D  Luckily the friend who I am going with is going by car, and has promised to get there early enough to bag a picnic space on the terraces rather than in the gardens...

Is it not the end of the day yet, it seems like this day is dragging on forever! Perhaps it's because there are things I want to get done in the house and I'm stuck in w**k!

catznine - Congrats on your DS getting the job. :T You must be over the moon. It's a shame it was tainted with a little sadness about your OH, hopefully everything will work out for the best though.

FBThree - Welcome to you :D

taplady - Fab news about your DS. Also HUGE congrats on the weight loss. I think I'm going back on the SW wagon next week so I may start picking your brains for meal plan ideas :D

Penny-Pincher!! - Sorry to hear the tests weren't good. Is there no way you can stay at home and have the treatment you need there?

Oh - Have you all seen the site is closing from 9pm tonight until 7am tomorrow! Who are we all going to chat with in the morning :rotfl:

    Afternoon everyone :hello:

(((scuzz))) - you've been given some fantastic advice that I can't add to because it's so good. Take care and do the thing that you know is right.

Penny Pincher - glad you had a good time!

We had a lovely day yesterday at the Suffolk Show. Our friends had invited us and we normally go to the Royal, which was really quite disappointing last year. However, I think we'll definitely be seeking out the Suffolk again! Definitely more "agricultural" than alot of the agricultural shows and some decent clothing and handbag stands/stalls too! :p The food tent was fab, if a little packed......... We got some of those dip mixes that you make up with yoghurt, fromage frais or mayonnaise, so we just need to invite lots of people around to eat them with us!

DH has decided that he's unfit, so this morning he went for a run - in his brand new trainers. He came back after 10 mins, huffing and puffing, declaring that yes he IS unfit. He also had a Scottie dog try to chase him :rotfl:

I'm trying to avoid planning my Numeracy for next week and writing reports. So, I have done some sort of Moneysaving things:

done my pigsback clicks (only got 10p to go before I can get my next £10 John Lewis voucher :j :j To be used towards an outfit for a couple of weddings!)
Done two Yougov surveys, getting £1 in total!
Been on GreasyPalm and done my daily searches to gain 9p
Had a quick click through my "delicious" magazine that arrived today (3 copies for £1).

Oh, and I'm still in my jim jams. Better go and get out of them. :o
